Hi!

Today I talked about the best moments we had in Regnum with some friends in IRC. I remembered a fight with Tenax, which gave me the best loot I have EVER obtained (and I'm quite sure I'll never get a better one)

It was a bit less than two years ago. I don't know exactly when, but I uploaded the screenshot to Regnum-online.de on 12.01.2008.

Remember: Back then there were not even special items out there, let alone magic or epic ones. Look at the damage, the gold I looted and especially the gauntlet. :cuac:

And please don't make fun of me because I sold them for 1,5kk xD I didn't know that was WAY too few and I didn't really care about gold anyway. Regnum-Irae already killed me for that, jaja :p

Ever seen anything with a modifier with a value as high as this one? I haven't ^^

The Royal Aquantis gave 700 gold per kill.

Anyway, I miss when it was like this, back then killing the dragon was really worth it...

I was thinking Around lv 46 mobs =P
But yeah, 700 from one of those Super Aquas sounds about right :D
I remember when NGD did that Money nerf, I think that was the first Really Big Nerf that started all the other fails NGD made after that.
Even I, a lv 35 Lock had like 15 mills lol

Yeah and additionally to the 700 gold coins itself you got items which were worth approximately 300 gold. Kililng one single Aquantis gave you a bout 1k gold. No wonder old ppl have so much gold ( :p )

And also, the dragon spawned every 24 hours, giving everybody 100k gold in average. Those were indeed good times :D

Hmm.. I don't know, there would be things we'd miss but we're not aware of that because we got used to it.

Er... Don't ask me what it could be but I guess there must be something :p

No, srsly, the only thing that I hate to see in nowaday's Regnum is that Ximerin now officially DOES influence PvP greatly. That's just so annoying to see.
But I like the new economy system. What's the point of everybody getting hundreds of thousands of gold nobody can use anyway? New Magna system brings some action into the economy of Regnum. I think that's one of the best changes they've ever made.
