New player here. Is this game like DAOC

hello, i am currently downloading the game and was wondering if this game is anything like DAOC which was an awesome game back in the day when they had a high population.

Also i was wondering if the 3 realms are pretty balanced? or is one side more hurting then the other?

Also, does race matter depending on the class you play

Is there endgame raiding content also?

Sorry for all of the questions, but I am trying to find a free MMO to play but dont mind spending some RL money on the options they offer ya know.

The graphics looks decent on this game and Im really hoping this game is what I am looking for.

Ok, I have no idea what DAOC is, so I cant help you there.
I play on Tyr myself, and i think youre going to play on Horus, but what I understand is that Syrtis is highly overpopulated, Alsius and Ignis have less members.
Race doesnt matter on the class if you mean with power, but there are certain classes for each race, for example: Dwarfs can only be warrior or archer, so no mage.
You can play the game fine without paying for it, but grinding (training,lvling) will take longer.

Welcome to the game. I didn't heard a lot about daoc but I can guarantee that the pvp here is way better and more crazy :) You will have a lot of fun.

Yes, some parts from DAoC are copied here, probably first you ll notice chat window similar.

About premium, you should not worry much. Premium does not affect war outcome as much as in other free mmos. Hopefully it will stay that way.
For PvP, premium can be important, equipment with crazy bonuses can help some, but wont win fight for you.

There is no real content in the final stage of the game, yet. No raids, instances or Arena Championships, but you definitely still can have fun. Invasions, hunts and fort wars, friends, magnatite weapons, bosses to kill. We were also promised some crafting and future dungeons, but there is little known about those yet.

Welcome.....imho this is the best f2p mmrpg around. The players are on the whole a friendly helpfull lot and the battles (even thou sometimes it can feel abit repetative) are great fun....wether you win or lose.

Not sure it's a big thing, but twice now i've been retreating from a battle with a surviving group (OK running for our lives) only to have a player on a horse run past, get far enuf in front, dismount then do CC, and hey those behind who were slowly falling behind are able to catch up and kill everyone. Great tactic, applaud the guy who first realised it (only ever seen it since the last upgrade), but it is for Premium only.
