It seems there does not exist such a thing like honor on Horus. Being proud of camping and invading a town is just sad. Does it make you feel cool to post such a thread? Gratulations.

Whats so bad in invading a city? It's invading and it's a part of a game.

What's wrong about invading an inner-realm city? It's terribly difficult to do so.

im not going to flame. i actually think that invading a city (even tho it was my realm :( ) was pretty cool. only thing i want to bring up is that all the people that were in the screenshot, thats about the maximum number of people i have seen in the wz at one time in ignis.

but regardless of realm, i think that taking over a city if there is no way to get a gem is making the most of a situation and im not in any way against it.

I vaguely remember a time on Horus when Ignis used to invade 4 times a week (or so it seemed). It was rather common to have to chase them out of our inner realm cities to keep our lower levels safe. In fact, I remember being one hit killed in the inner realm during an invasion not so long after I started playing. They say what comes around goes around.......

I'm pretty sure I remember one hit killing some noobs in Syrtis in those first couple of weeks.

As for the honour in staging an assult on an inner realm city.... This is war my friend. Once a realm has got inside their enemy's walls you should expect this kind of thing.

Actually, back when invasions were being talked about I was might excited because in my mind I envisioned massive invasions where smashing down the gate was only the first step, and the eventual goal would include capturing the capital (whereupon the invaded realm would be subjugated until such time as there was a successful revolution). None of this gem-grabbing nonsense.

well i think that would be a sweet idea except for the fact that if that was successful, an underpopulated realm would never have a successful revolution.

And if you did realy 'subject' a realm they would probably just go do something fun instead of staying online to deal with whatever 'punishment' they get get for being zerged by a force 5* their size. :p

Yeah well, no-one could say I was thinking about that kind of thing at the time ;)
OTOH, how is that different to what we have, except that it would be much harder to actually pull off an invasion?
