Wtf is this NGD??
No, it's not bad luck. It's the game's current situation. Maybe it's not always like that but EVERYBODY resists all the time. This NEEDS to be fixed!

A evade or resist unbuffed if unbuffed with a evade/resist spell should be very rare, no way a mob should evade several hits in a row, is it hard for NGD to put a checker on a mob so if it evades or such it cant run the evade chance layer again for another 30 seconds for example?

This is a realy old issue.
See this screenshot (2008-02-26).

Two years without fix the problem.:tsk_tsk:

Exactly... It's been like that for AGES. Only thing that changed is that spells used to get "evaded" too and now it's called "resists" but it's basically the same >.<

i think its a bit pointless to complain about it now, i know i have, and still do hate it, but obviously NGD doesnt listen, or just likes the current system to make grinding more tedious (perhaps to make more money off boosters, mana potions etc..due to the removal of fatigue.

thats my best guess as to why some mobs have an unholy evade and resist rate.

if it was only the mobs i woulndt mind SO much but it's the players AND the mobs. even once you're 50 and dont have to grind anymore it STILL sucks. if NGD likes it they could at least tell us so we stop posting billions of threads and hope for nothing

Am I correct or has there NEVER been an official statement from NGD? If there has been one, please show me. Seriously, I'm sure there have been threads like this for more than a year.

What about letting us know what you think about it NGD? Seriously, is it so hard to write one goddamn post?

- Are you aware of the situation (you probably are but we don't know that!!)?
- Do you think it's wrong or do you think that the resists/evades are OK the way they are?
- If you think it's wrong, what is the reason for not having given us any fix in such a long time? It's high priority and you must know that after so many threads... Or don't you know how to fix it? :p

Please just COMMUNICATE with us, we all would really like to know what's going on and what will be done about it...

Thanks

There is nothing more frustrating or maddening as a warrior than to get 1/2 your hp lost while trying to reach that critical enemy mage only to have him/her evade 3 or 4 times in a row and resist both attack spells.

This may sound rare but honestly this sort of thing happens to me at least twice per game-session war...often times back to back.

Post a hundred images of 6, 7 or 8 evades from one mob.

Post a thousand threads complaining about how frustrating it is.

But unfortunately i don't think there will be an official response, and the problem will just continue.

This is the continuing history of this subject.

Urgh... Am I using a low SotW or something? And don't tell me it's because of the +3 evasion bonus of my tunic... Same with the enemy jfc (warlock!) whom I attacked with a +17 concentration bonus altogether. :rolleyes2::huh:

I don't know how works the system to evade / resist of mobs, but it's really peculiar as sometimes resist/evade everything and another sometimes no.

I don't understand :imstupid:.

NGD wont do shit about this cos i dont know why maybe cos there ears are bad or somthing or its there eyes but they seems to not listen to there players at all, so guess what they will cast this damn post aside like it was not even posted. its how they do it its how they make money cos its there game and they do as they please but it will be a matter of time before regnum will lose soo meny players and NGD will lose alot of money also. they need the players to run the game with out players there will be no money makeing.

On topic :
I agree, the mob resist rate is way too much...
Some days ago when I grinded with my lock, a (blue) mob resisted all the offensive spells in my spellbar (lighning, meteor, magma, golem, fireball, vamp, freeze ...), very bad luck yes, but the problem is that it happens way too much.
DB has got a point, I doubt that NGD will take care of this problem. Resists/Evades make the grind harder and "force" people to buy more scrolls to grind faster...

But that doesn't explain why it happens in PvP, too...

I was so sick of resists on my lock that I wanted to try a full SM setup (despite my non-SM stuff), because it's "much easier" since there's no resists on normal hits...
Oh really much easier ?

Thx man for this post. I was considering to give SM a try when I would grind my lock again. You have spared me some time. ^^

Speak American lol Lets all say Newspeak all together now. So sad

Newspeak is a fictional language in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. The term was also used to discuss Soviet phraseology.[1] In the novel by Orwell, it is described as being "the only language in the world whose vocabulary gets smaller every year". Orwell included an essay about it in the form of an appendix[2] in which the basic principles of the language are explained. Newspeak is closely based on English but has a greatly reduced and simplified vocabulary and grammar. This suits the totalitarian regime of the Party, whose aim is to make any alternative thinking—"thoughtcrime", or "crimethink" in the newest edition of Newspeak—impossible by removing any words or possible constructs which describe the ideas of freedom, rebellion and so on. One character, Syme, says admiringly of the shrinking volume of the new dictionary: "It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words."
