New moderator and GM

Hi,

Although quite a few people already know me, lets introduce myself. I am Dky Sven, playing a knight on Ra and I was GM1 on Tyr and moderator of the Dutch forums.As some people already have noticed I became GM2 on Horus and moderator of the English forum. Because of this I will stop participating in balance discussions to make sure I stay objective when moderating the forum.

Now I start to moderate this forum too, beside Gamemod and Kailer, it might look like moderating became more strict but this will probably look this way because now we can react faster when moderation is needed.

Of course I can't always read everything or be online all the time. If you want to make sure I take a look at a post, use the report function. Because I have other things too besides moderating reaction time can vary.

My job as moderator is keeping the forum a nice place to be. I can't help you with your suggestions or reported bugs. Developers of NGD will still have to take care of such threads.

On Horus I am now GM2. My main task is to end fights in the realm chats. I will try not to abuse my GM-powers :p

I'm not sure if NGD sends all their plans to their moderators and explains their detailed ideas behind everything in the game to them. That would leave Dky with not much useful left to say. Voicing his own opinion could be bad for his position above all parties, which moderators should have.

Finally, because "naughty behavior" tip on login screen is sure not enough.
Some players try really hard to make Ignis chat better place especially for new comers but even though there are some immature people swearing or spaming(sometimes multiaccounts).

There are also people playing with mental disorders, so don't ban them immediately, just talk to them please, educate:)

Also players try to do their best to make their realm better place, but not always possible without some GMs help. At least telling "we are watching you" and stating some rules how to behave could improve situation.
