This is the only game that is producing so many resists and evades during one fight. I assure you I played a lot of MMO games and none created such frustration over the amount of resists. This has gotten to the ridiculous point, where a player can resist 100% of spells during one fight, relying on luck/items.

There's no fun if only one side enjoys the fight, amirite?
I'd understand one or two, MAX. Three with items, perhaps. But this screenie isn't one of a kind, really..

ive def roared 5 syrtis one time and they ALL resisted. i think i still have a pic lying around.

I'm always amazed when a mob that's lying on the ground because I hit it with Will Domain still manages to evade my attacks!

I've had even worse resists lately too.
Especially on mages for some reason.

Maybe the resist rate based on int changed or something?

I've seen much worse, you have no reason to cry about few resists, unless you're actually crying that you got killed by nub lock with lvl3 meteor. :D

Oh sorry, have I missed the latest strategy with which you can win a 2vs7 or something in which the enemy warlock resists like 4 out of 6 spells?

Yeah, that's odd, right? People start noticing something when it affects them?

However, I doubt this is one of the problems that has been around "for years". Resist problems, especially on mobs, have been around for quite some time - but from what I understand (I don't play enough myself right now) people have noticed a sudden increase in resist rates lately.

I pop up with it because I notice it only when it affects me. Why would I notice it when somebody else's spells get resisted, I focus on my gameplay.

But I DO know that it affects many players, and many players feel disturbed by this issue. If I were the only player in RO who doesn't like this, I wouldn't have created at least 3 threads about it..

The issue HAS been around for years, resists just used to be called evades for spells, too, but if you take a closer look at my profile you notice that I have also been COMPLAINING about it for years. Funny thing is, I made the my first post in this forum somewhen in September 2007 and it was a thread asking for concentration items for my brother because he had so many spells being resisted. So no, it's not just because I am affected by it, you can be sure of that. :)
