Hello my names Michael... I'm pretty interested in this game, but theres one thing I wanted to know. Does this game revolve around Ximerin??? I'm looking for a good FREE to play game.. I'd be willing to dish out a couple dollars here and there but not something that i'd have to do on a regular basis.

In one line, No you dont need Xim to play/compete in Wz

Its a long grind to 50 without Xim but many many players have done it including myself, takes a few months, in general Id say that non-xim players are just as effective as Xim players, if you dish out a ton of cash on lucky box's then xim players will get some good gear out of it but theres a lot of normal drops/sold lucky box stuff around that you can buy with in game things like magna other items or even just gold that are just as good or better.

well yes and no,

you DONT need to spend any money to play, and there is no limitations on items, levels, quest whatever.

however it does imbalance in terms of equipment (though there is no Premium only weapons/armor, no player could possibly obtain the same items realistically)

however you can still trade for them, and slim chance u may drop items during grinding yourself, and there are realm items (boss drops, which can be obtained by all and not bought thru xim at all)

so aside from the items and gems (giving most players a stupidly easy way to get great items/gear for real money)

other uses are
boosters obviously help you level faster but you can level without them, no restrictions on level or time
others are simply cosmetic modifications
some hp/mana items to speed up regaining them
mounts to travel faster

anyways seems to be some server issues right now..

Hello Michael,

welcome to the game :-).
No you do not need to spend any money. I myself did not spend anything so far. The only thing i perhaps would spend money on is a horse in order to be able to move faster, but that is not necessary.
When i get killed it is not because i did not purchase any premium items. It is because i played stupid or because the enemy is stronger or playing better then me :-).

One more thing. When I try to log onto my character it gives me a message saying that I am having a connection issue. I'm guessing that is because the servers are down? Just wondering because its been about two or so hours since I last someone post about it.

There were problems with the autopatch server due a hardware failure. It should be fixed now.
