Transfer from Ra to Horus [Dot under i]

Well having played Horus now, I might not..it just doesn't have that FEEL, what that feel is i dunno..its just little things..

like afking to eat lunch and having some barb come and south cross you at just the moment you leave.
about not getting what the heck people may be saying, but understanding each other anyways.
the lagtastic fort battles, though on horus people would assume its invasion.


so its a different pace, and different community, so while i may or may not..

id like the CHOICE to.

I believe the problem with transfers is that by now Horus has a community that is very intolerant towards people barging in at a high level of familiarity with the game and attempting to throw their weight around. People who already tried to go to Horus from Ra later in the history of the new server will know what I am talking about... even those of us that have been on Horus since the beginning have difficulty make our voices heard, and people coming from Ra are treated as noobs, and I don't believe that arriving at level 50 will change that — on the contrary I fear it will simply bring out the bad blood.

I would think about it a little if I could transfer from syrtis ra to alsius horus, but if I cannot go to alsius then I wont be going over.

it would be nice if our characters could exist on both RA and Horus and when you log on you have a choice where you'd like to play at the particular time. So if Horus gets boring you could quickly log off and into RA with the same character

but i understand this is something thats hard to accomplish since both servers are already very established and lots of characters already exist in both realms

I voted yes, because I started to think that it would be like in Warhammer Online that you can transfer your char once a day to any server you want...but it is NGD:cuac:
So I would just stay at RA.

The main reason that ppl want to transfer from RA to Horus is because there are many english speaking players in RA who don't speak spanish at all! yet, majority of the players in RA speak spanish. This language barrier is what REALY makes ppl want to move to Horus. Communication problem makes it hard to trade with other players, coordinate attacks, chat with other players. if we can't even talk with other players, what's the point of playing RPG...

As we all know, initially, there was only one server available for Regnum Online and that's why english-speaking ppl like me stuck in RA in the first place. if there were a english server from the start, i would've chosen the engilsh server. Therefore, a transfer from RA to Horus is much needed for ppl like me. We are the main reason that NDG came up with the transfer idea in the first place.

Imo. the problem is that English speakers always shut themselves into their small communities without even trying to make contact with/understand the spanish speaking community.

There are so many great players in the spanish community, many of them speak English, some don't.
Besides, on Horus the problem is "over communication" imo.

On RA, people act based on others actions just because of this language barrier that hinders us from proper communications, while on Horus, from my experience, you have to write your intentions before doing anything for anyone to react.

Znurre, I think in Alsius there's most English speakers actually.

And I'm on that screen and I speak Spanish too :cuac:
For me personally, the opposite of what you've described seems to be the case: I appreaciate the language barrier and take it as an opportunity to learn Spanish a bit better. I've been learning it at school for more than a year but in this game I use it often enough for it to actually GET into my head. Learning by doing. And I like it! I remember when I started playing RO I almost ignored the holas but now I'm glad I don't anymore, actually I've no other choice anymore because so many English speaking friends have left and I almost HAD to make new Spanish ones, and I succeeded in doing so I guess :)

then i got to Horus and realize there WAS no wars or action. (ok maybe a little melodramatic but..action like a fort war on RA is a rare INVASION in Horus) still..now i would love to move my char back to RA and deal with the language barrier :)

i guess you are right but i got to see for myself and decide whether its really that bad in Horus :D

also, Ive heard that even if we do get to transfer from RA to Horus someday, our RPs will be reset to default (0). That means all our efforts spent in wz on RA will not be reflected through RP once we make the transfer...that really sucks!

Although i understand the reason for doing so, we need some sort of compensation for the loss of RP in the event that this rp default thingy do come true. otherwise i would stay in RA even if NGD offers the transfer.

I am almost regretting making my main toon in Horus. I made a lvl28 barb in two days in RA last week (couldn't get enough) when Horus server went down and I was shocked to see how many people are online. In Horus you can sometimes easily run all the way around the map in all Realms and see noone. It was very seldom that I didn't see someone in RA in both warzone and inner realm. Plus the exchange of forts is incredible on RA! So much more fast pace, I was hooked! I grinded for around 4 hours last week in Horus and not a single fort was taken. Granted it was a dead time on the server, but on RA it was every few minutes a fort was going down. I wish I was to be able to transfer from Horus to RA instead of the other way!!!! I will happily learn some Spanish, those buggers know how to make a fun server.

I know it is counterproductive leaving Horus as it is 1 less toon, but i am playing to have fun, not to run around with a few people and maybe run into a lone low level grinding goat.... Or take a fort and wait 30 mins to an hour for them to try and retake. I will keep my character in case it improves in the future, but I think RA is my new home for a while.

In Horus's defence however, it can be good when server is at it's peak times, but this is almost like the dead time in RA from my limited experience on RA. Due to my timezone I don't get to see many invasions/attempts

Please allow non-Argentenian Spanish speakers from Spain, Mexico and other countries to join Horus. It makes sense that Argentenians are restricted because of Argentina being the origin of the game (and RA the flagship server) because NGD doesn't want their sheer numbers to overwhelm Horus, or to reduce RA's market. However restricting the other countries from which there isn't too many players is just useless and limits Horus' population unneccessarily.

NGD really should allow transfers from Horus to Ra as well (or even more from any server to any server), the end effect will be the same whether they allow it or not......

PPl who wanna transfer to Ra want it coz they dont have/cant have (whatever) fun on Horus, so they will stop playing there ---> Hours loses players--->Horus dies.

IF NGD would allow transfers like this at least the players that would like to transfer their chars could have fun again. In this case Horus would lose these players again, so would die as an end effect again :P

Last time I checked reverse transfers are honored if you were already from RA. But you have to submit a ticket for it.

My marksman was from Ra, I did transfer from Ra to Horus, I asked by a ticket a reverse transfer, they just said they would want to let me the chance to do it but they cannot promise it for the moment :-(
