I was fighting thanus today and he was "running" fast.
He wasnt exactly running he was hoovering over the map but very fast.
faster than my spring
so i jumped at my horse and he was almost as fast as the horse!
and not only a few secs. quite a long time. i suppose over 30 seconds so i doubt it was a skill.
anything known about a new speed bug?

well as a hunter you can get some extra speed using an passive ability and using an spell called "mobility"...
I wont call this a bug ;)
Not sure how the speed bonuses are applied but some simple math show a hunter could out run a horse.
(Running speed number made up but need a starting point)
Hunter running speed= 10
Horse running speed = 10 x 1.5 = 15
Wild sprits = +15%
Mobility = +35%
Son of Win = +30%
If speed boot is applied on top of each other
Hunter running speed = (((10 + 15%) + 35%) + 30%)
Hunter running speed = ((11.5 + 35%) +30%)
Hunter running speed = (15.53+ 30%)
Hunter running speed = 20.2
If speed boost is applied as total percentage
Hunter running speed = 10 + (15% +30% +35%)
Hunter running speed = 10 + 80%
Hunter running speed = 18

Tyr i just wonder, if wild spirits is a passive skill you can't really count it as a total percentage, you can only count it on top of each other right?
We really don't know how the bonuses are applied. The skill of mobility gives a +35% speed boost and when I activate son of wind +30% I run faster then with mobility alone so I don't see why not.
To get the true answer we need a dev to comment on this. So if we are lucky one will. (Hint Hint Hint)

that explains it very well :p, the hovering you saw is probably caused by lag
