Whats with low lvl stuff?

Ive made a lock in RA, hes been dropping like mad >.> dropped a lvl 7 sb with 4% as, a 13 staff with 3% cs, lvl 16 lb +10 ice, lcl 11 tunic with +2 const, 11 gloves with 2% magical dmg resist, and a ton of stuff ive given away.

Whats up with these freakin low lvl drops?

The drop rate has always been very good for low level items.

Ironically in this game, the harder the creatures that you kill, the lower the drop chance, with it nearing almost 0% at level 50. It is a very backwards concept that should be removed or at least rethought now that the game is item-based.

Huge amount of people in a server increase the drop rate in the server it is normal thing in Ra. :)

This is nonsense.. Sure, you get more drops when more monsters are killed but the rate of drops per kill is NOT changed..

Droprate seems solely related to monster level. One change had been silently introduced some months ago uhm: you can only get item drops from monsters that give you xp.
Thats at least what it looks like from testing..

I guess it has to do with your level then? The Higher you are the less you will drop and if you do, you'll drop crap. >.>

when you reach slightly higher lvl, around 20 I think, drop rate drops drastically (no pun intended)

Yes, that indeed seems the case. I have levelled a couple of new characters lately, and when I got to about 20 or 21, the drop rate fell drastically. My new 23 Hunter now only gets a drop about once every 30 kills.

Can anyone think of anything other than a war signet that's dropped from an Ignean Orc Warrior? Perhaps you've had something drop from a Huge Stone Golem or a Cyclops Warrior Master?
