Does anyone have stats on how weapon speed is affected by Attack Speed +x% items?

How does a Medium weapon with +10% Attack Speed compare to a Fast weapon for example?

What Attack Speed percentage equates a Slow weapon to a Medium weapon?

Thanks ;)

I Think +24% of Attack Speed, Changes a Weapon to Vel. Too Slow>Slow, Slow>Medium, Medium>Fast, Fast>Very Fast, Barbarians can change with set and buff, vel. by two. Knighs can make it by one, as Mages, but The only one that can change weapon Speed to 3 is the Shooter, or whatever it calls in English. Cause it has a Buff in Short Arc powers, set + the other Last power. I can make it have, like 60% or 75%(in not making numbers). I think I forgot Hunter, i think they can make it to two.

But talking real, its trully hard make all this. :)

Im from spanish Forum;),

What I know of attack speed is from the wiki.

There is a certain amount of time it takes for each bow to make its shot, and then there is a certain time span between the initial shot and the next shot. Attack speed bonuses on weapons decrease the time between the initial and final shot, but do not affect the shot time of the bow itself.

Wiki Article

Speed
Every weapon has a certain speed, which affects the number of normal attacks or powers a player can make/cast in a certain time. There are four weapon speeds in the game: fast, medium, slow, and very slow.
The actual speeds of these named speeds is the same for all classes and weapon types. The speeds are:[1]
Speed: Fast Medium Slow Very Slow
Hits per second :0.53 0.40 0.31 0.26
Seconds per hit :1.88 2.53 3.19 3.80
A character's weapon speed can be boosted by some special equipment or powers. Like cast speed however, the numbers for attack speed bonuses affect the time taken between attacks rather than attack speed. For example, the spell Arcane Acceleration gives attack speed +25%, but this actually reduces the time between attacks by 25% instead. So for example a medium staff will be reduced from 2.53s per hit to 1.90.[2]
The powers that can boost attack speed are:
For all archers: Rapid Shot (limited duration, can only be used with Short Bows)
For marksmen: Hawk's Gaze (limited duration)
For mages: Arcane Acceleration (limited duration but duration = cooldown on lvl 5)
For barbarians: Thirst for Blood (limited duration)
If attack speed is boosted beyond a certain limit, then it becomes too fast for the attack animations to cope with. In these cases the attack animation will be slowed a little, and then 2 attacks will actually be made in the one animation. If the attack speed is boosted even further to another limit, it will start decreasing again to prevent overly high amounts of damage from being dealt.[citation needed] Not sure how current that is.

Thanks guys. That seems to match up with the data I have so far.

So roughly 25% = a reduction of one 'step' in speed

Precisely.

Given current status, is there a lower limit on weapon speed then?

A Fast weapon with +25% would become faster, but what is the 'fastest' attack speed that will be possible (in terms of time)?

The limit of your buffs/items seems to be the limit. NGD have no acctual cap to attack/cast speeds.

Yep. So the very fastest would be a marks with rapid shot + hawk's gaze(5) on a fast bow with +7% as +7% gem +5% as legs (Never seen 7% on legs.) That's +64% as on a fast weapon making for one shot every .68 secs.
And on that note, I think the clock Regnum uses runs fast (Though I've never tested that.) If that's true however, then it would actually be faster assuming those numbers were obtained by using a normal clock.

Movement speed maxes out at 150%

does attack speed max out at a certain speed?

or cast speed?

Neither attack/cast speed has a max limit afaik. Just as high as your buffs + gear allow.
