View Full Version : Suggestion: Temporary block all PM's option

Hi,

Do you find it annoying that when fighting suddenly window pops up ?
You click cancel and then noob that you helped in WZ is trying to PM you over and over and You die ?

Please NGD, maybe there is such a option and I don't know about it, but if not, it should not be that hard to implement it (I could do it in less then 20min myself If I had a code) !!

Please add check-box in options, so we can block all incoming PM chats when we want to war in peace ;)

Sometimes when person drops boss drop, gets lots of PM's and that would solve also such a problems.

You could write /ignore_chat to block chat requests.

yes, or just ignore the chat proposal and move it to a corner of ur screen like i do :beerchug:

Thats why I stated that maybe there is an option, but I never used it, so I did not know the command.

You could write /ignore_chat to block chat requests.

Would it be possible to make it visible by putting it in options with checkbox ? And thanks :)

Erm you dont need to make it visible, it's just /ignore_chat - /accept_chat and of course /ignore_party - /accept_party, tadaaaa!

yes i do know the command but i like to c the chat so i can chat back later:D

Well I am 3 years old player, but I find that also other players which I know play from a long time didn't know this command.

<-- 2.5 here and I was told about them on RA :biggrin:

Edit there's also /ignore_clan..for when your a low level and you get spammed for clan requests..this happened a lot on RA.

As nice as all these / commands are, they do sort of sound like NGD couldent be bothered to make them acctual in game options. Tick Boxs or at least a list of all / commands in the 'how to play' guide should be added.

As it is many new players dont know about the / commands unless they ask if there is a way to reskill/ignore someone.

I just had a quick glimps on help which is quite long and I bet no one readed it all.
I could not find any reference to commands available. Maybe somewhere between text, but I could not spot them.

Exactly, but not only new players, I never bothered to ask about /ignore_chat thing. Until now on forum and about /reset_powers I heard from other players because I also couldn't read about it anywhere, but since this one was quite crucial I asked about it at beginning.

I had a quick skim read though the How to Play window and under 'non combat actions' it does mention commands such as wave trade etc but I dont think it acctualy says for example:

To reset your skills type '/reset_powers' in the chat window.

well id like it..along with a more streamlined gui functions, so it doesnt make me feel like im using linux and have to learn all these archaic functions :)
