I asked you why mind push was over powered here are a few reasons but not all as to why I know mind push was not over powered.
1) Mind push can only be used at range 5
Mind push before lvl 5 is not worth using at all...
a. So if you cast it and it doesnt contact the enemy.. you die
b. since its range 5 archer and mages can still attack you full force before
you run out of range.
c. warriors can use range 15 spells and stun you before you cast or after
you cast both knights and bards have stun spells.
d. warriors can use speed spells and reach you as soon as mind push ends
using a speed spell as soon as mind push is cast is the perfect counter!
2) Mind push has duration 10 at lvl 5
a. works in perfect harmony with all other skills from all classes... warrior
knock can be done once per 20 seconds and if mind push fails they are
on you and its over....
b. If a mage casts ivy on you then as mind push ends ivy ends. makes for
a great counter
3) mind push has cooldown 10
a. since the range is 5 this cooldown is perfect... if you are fighting an
archer and mind push him to prevent him from fisting you he can still'
own you with arrow from far plus he can use speed run spells to fist you
anyway.
b. Mages can use silence + ivy + beetle to counter mind push
though there is no reason to try to push a mage...
c. Finally warriors can use distant stun attacks to stun you and reach you
cooldown 10 gives you a 50% chance of trying to mind push them
again if they just run straight at you.. and a 20 % chance if they use
their speed spells after mind push is cast. and it gives you a 5%
chance to use it again if they stun you with their range attacks after
you cast mind push...
Mind Push VS Monsters
Mind push vs monsters is ok only if the monster is non ranged and you
are willing to let it get close enough to breathe in your face. If the
spell fails and you try to use it to stay alive you are dead... cast too
early and you are dead... and too late you are dead....
Mind push does not work on bosses....
The cooldown of 10 seconds meshes perfectly with the speed in
which one kills the opponents.
Megrim I have stated the facts about mind push ... there are more ways to counter it in battle but i don't want to make it 100% usless by posting them all... Please tell me why you feel this spell is over powered... When you have the time... since we all know you are very busy....
