pet names

hi,

i made a hunter on ra (a while ago) and startd to name my pet but most of my names where not allowed, so here is my question.

are there rules about naming pets? or a list of names that are not allowed?

like i tryed 'your mother' cause i tought it should be funny to be defeated or defeating 'your mother'xD but it was not allowed, on the other hand, after being killed during grinding for the 1000+ time by syrtis hunters 'syrtis u fuckers' was allowed, so it's rather strange.

pet-names are the only way you can communicate with your enemy in-game so try your best to make a name that would piss them off the most. certain names arent aloud, im not sure why but it could be that someone else already has than name in use. i dont think it has any language filter coz ive seen some pretty bad names

You can't use names that are used by players already. "Your mother" is probably a player on Ra.

it was a tol tar slave (part of the joke), but i named him 'mother mary' after a lot of failed attempts

If you tried 'Faith' it wont work, but last I checked if you use 'Faith.' it will, so there are ways around it.

For pet names at least it would be nice if NGD cleared out the 'no-list' of any players who didnt log in the past month, if they then logged in again the name would be unavailable, just as a way to free up some more names instead of non-active players taking up 1000's of slots.

I tried "Roofie" but it said it's not allowed, so I made a "Roofie<3" and it went well

I saw a hyena named Ó,..,Ó made me laugh really

But to be honest, it's the same with naming horses, it's really hard to find a name if the player names are counting too
