I appreciate the effort put in game, the wonderful community here, and the constant development of game. I see all the hard work that goes into running a place like this, and I usually try to keep my opinions balanced and complaints to a minimum. A few recent things are beyond my capability to ignore.
Yesterday I finally got myself some xim, since I could not find a good tunic for my warlock. Bought 3 platinum armour boxes and 1 gold one on warlock. I got... 3 pairs of gloves (I already had 2 pairs of epic gloves) - gives me 5, and a conjurer tunic! I understand this is random.. but 3 pairs of gloves is a bit ridiculous. I love supporting game when I have some money, since I understand money is needed to run any business, but this does not encourage supporting!
This combined with lack of Alsius chat - makes trading impossible.
Next...
The last event (rosettes) - I lost all my rosettes because some people were abusing system. Than when I decided I had no chance to participate since I could not put enough time, it turned out time was extended (of course many of us did not know). I figured... well, happens.
This time I spent time searching for feet etc. I had some drops on different characters (since I also warred and supported others), so I used account stash to transfer to hunter... Effect?! All transfered well to stash, when retrieved... I have 1, 19 and 20 Halloween drops left from maybe 250-300 each that I had before. Even original ones I had on hunter are gone. Of course gold for stashing/retrieving were taken from my tab. If trading between your characters using stash is not allowed/problematic... please tell us?
There are a few other things I have issues with, but I will stop here. The point is... I play fair, try to organize community, help as much as I can. Try to support game by putting some money into it.
As I said, I love the game, and I appreciate the effort and wonderful work NGD does. I am very disappointed though, that little things are ignored, and this makes a game difficult to enjoy. And I would appreciate if my time and money put into game are respected as well.

agree on that, the game is good, but there are MANY little things that must be fixed or review anyway. Are those things that make ppl unhappy most of the time.
For lucky box,i got the same problem tryng to buy gems, weapon for my knight, for my hunter, for my marks, but all the stuff i use on them is droppped stuff cause PLATINUM box never give somethings good.
And i'm sorry to say that, but if someone ask me about, i ever give ppl advice to don't buy lucky box, because platinum box are really really crappy to be PREMIUM items.
I spent and waste lot of real money,so i can say that for sure...
Then so sorry you lost all your quest items.
I tryed to drop the mask on my marks founding big pumpkins,i founded 67 bigpumpinks, have you seen the mask on my marks after 67 pumpikns??!!Well me not!
So i'm ignoring completely the event.

Hey dz,
I feel your pain. Unhappiness and dissatisfaction have become synonymous with Regnum Online over the years.
"Get Ximerin: Be Premium!" has always really meant "Get stuff you should've been given for free anyway because we like to make the game so rediculously hard". While actual premium users get very little satisfaction either because the premium item selection sucks, being mostly aimed at milking the game mechanics for money, rather than giving players some awesome things.
But well... this is just something you have to grow and accept if you want to continue to play. It is NGD's business model, and whether we like it or not, it seems to be working for them, as the game is still running. And to be honest I'd rather it keep running than be gone completely.
Kind regards.

There is another issue with one of the halloween quests, the collect candy one,
If you decide to collect the 5000 candy required, you will find it will weighs 50Kg, enough to overburden most people
I started to collect it, but after seeing 500 of them weighed 5kg i though umm no

Lucky boxes are risky thing - only time I use it was on Amun server and I've never get anything interesting. Dunno if it still works, but when you cant sold what you get, it could get really annoying. But in the other hand, many people could say that there is a balance between premium and free players, but is it fair enough when people spent their money for some loot?
Anyway I regret one change in premium content - why there is no longer an armor paint? I know it wasnt work perfectly (I've tried once to paint my Necromancer tunic and it wasnt worth a while - when I use a green paint on a black part of the tunic, it didnt paint to green, only gets a little bit greeny on black background), but if it'll be fixed, it could be a perfect way to customize our characters.

There is armor paint. But it won't show up if you play in fixed pipeline.

@Myxir: Thanks mate, didn't know that :-) Some time ago I've switched to fixed pipeline to get more fps, gonna set back and check it again. :endofofftop:

I've had that exact same issue when using platinum boxes for armour. Every single time i use it i get gauntlets. I've purchased alot, never got anything else besides guantlets. I just spend my money on costumes and paints nowadays.

NGD the account issue really needs to be addressed. Please. People shouldn't have to worry about using items they put in their stash. I've also heard of the whole if one tab gets too full items start to vanish. How about putting some hard limits on how many different things we can carry to account for any possible bugs?
Until we hear otherwise from NGD I would advise everyone to not put stacked items in their stashes unless they're arrows, especially their magnanite's. I've never had problems with armors or weapons for the record. I also really hope NGD is restoring missing items.
Sorry you lost your items DZ ;_;

Nice post but NGD doesn't care. Guess you know now that buying ximerin must be taken precaution. Buy the important items such as Horse, Engrave Socket, Potions, and Warbanners. Otherwise its all scam.

This has happened with the ''clan banks'' lots of good items were lost because of this bug...

This combined with lack of Alsius chat - makes trading impossible.
Putting everything else you said aside - this is a lie. Alsius chat is there, just in the inner zone. Trade inside.
The boxes are random. There are 3 classes and two subclasses each. You've just been unlucky, that's why they're called Lucky Boxes. Imagine what a rant would be when there'd be four subclasses for each class, and you'd get nothing for your warlock :P There's a 50% chance for a tunic to be warlock one.
It is YOU who decide to spend money on the box, and you have to keep in mind they won't guarantee anything. There are sites for Regnum trading, like rotrader. You invest stuff, like in real life, only sometimes it turns out the exact way you want it. It's the same with drops, they are quite random too. Lucky box just gives you instant drop, narrowing the random chance to your class.
If you want something for 100%, buy a horse or paint ;]

thank you for reading/support guys.
and i am not ranting, so no need for teaching me about life Pizdzius. :)
i was imply sharing some observations... and i am not alone in them from what i know. if u insist i can change the word impossible into: difficult. which does not change the fact that I used to trade a lot and since the chat is gone i have been having difficulties. just my personal opinion...

I don't think she was ranting about being robbed or wasting money on the boxes or anything like that. Most people are aware that when purchasing a platinum box, you're more likely to get something you don't want but there's a point when it just gets ridiculous.
I've purchased a large amount of boxes for weapons and i've received a wide variety of bows of all speeds and ranges, some really terrible ones and a couple of decent ones. That's how its meant to be. But for armor, all that ever comes out of that box is gauntlets. That right there is definitely more than just bad luck and its not only me and the OP that experienced this.

I seem to remember something in the description of a plat box that states it will be close to your level and class specific. Hence the reason for the extra cost of plat boxes over the others. The (at least) implied guarantee that it will be something usable at least.
I have the same bitch when it comes to plat boxes giving me knight weapons for my barb.
Can anyone clarify the description and explain where I'm wrong?

The description says it will be around your level and USABLE BY YOUR CLASS, not sub-class specific. So when your barb gets a knight weap, its because you CAN USE it.
Ofcourse that doesn't validate how shitty it is, and how NGD's response is the fabled dual wielding which I believe is never going to come out.

I also learned the hard way that the only purchase worth the money is banners and boosters.
(banners are must have without wz chat to send a msg to people not in clan or party)
Maybe the premium boxes could be divided like the gem boxes so you can choose what type you wish to buy.
It really doesn't encourage repeat purchases when you dont get what you feel you've paid for.
if I wanted to gamble I'd go to a casino.

This has happened with the ''clan banks'' lots of good items were lost because of this bug...
If I remember correctly the character inventories have a visual limit of around 125ish (about 25 per tab) before the items appear to be thrown into the bit bucket. It is hard to think that the stashes will hold that amount, but I know they have upgrades.
Right now if I get xym I only spend it on sure things. I would recommend that if you want them (NGD) to take a look at what is being considered an issue with the lucky boxes (like giving only gauntlets) then submit a support ticket. At least then you get your little ticket receipt unlike the mixed bag of nuts that the forum provides xD .
I rehash this from a previous post of mine elsewhere in the forum
Personally I would rather a different implementation.
Instead,
you choose your weapon or armour and buy a basic one from the shops. You then take this weapon or armour that you choose and like and head to the weaponsmith or blacksmith. The Lucky box now becomes Imbue recipe. You can purchase simple imbue, advanced imbue , or legendary imbue. You hand in the item to the NPC and purchase the recipe from it. It is then imbued and becomes your new improved weapon or armour. The benefit with this is that you chose the base of your gear and as such will become less dissatisfied if it did not turn out as good as you wanted. At least you can still use the damn thing. No Barb getting conju gloves or one hand weapon. An imbued weapon is of no lower class than "special".
A second implementation could be the gamble NPC. The NPC has items on sale and you see the base stat on them. Each item has hidden stats and quality but is not less than a special. You deposit Ximerin to purchase the item you like and the quality becomes known when it hits your inventory. Like above you choose the item so at least it is usable by you.
In my humble view, something more along this line may be much more palatable to the community while still raising revenue. In fact if implemented properly, it could encourage repeat business.
