There is no need for blood. It wouldn't make this game more interessting and has nothing to do with gameplay.

Additional, if there would be more violence, this game wouldn't be the right one for children, which we have a lot in here.

Blood would be very cool thing in this game..like head exploding when you get hit by hammer or guts hangin out of you stomach..arms and legs separating from body when you die..things like that..lots of blood and violence!

I saw in y** tube a video publiciting regnum, and this video shows a lot of blood, i never realize that in the game there is not blood cause i keep my grafics the lowest to improbe playability, but i think that no blood sucks.

Gore is boring. It adds practically nothing, creates a lot of trouble and would wreak havoc with graphics. Plus it would be disgusting...

I don't care if there is blood or not, but some different animations for certain deaths or attacks would be cool. Like summon lightning... everyone who has that casted on them should have electricity flowing throughout them. This would help the conjurers to know who is getting hurt. There's so many other animations that could be added.

But for now, many bugs need to be fixed. It seems like things keep getting added to the game, but not many obvious bugs are being fixed.

i read somewhere that early versions of this game had some gore effects in it.
thats where this video comes from.

blood, blood, blood.... blood everywhere... Why the hell you need blood? (mmo)rpg's are not the right games for blood. I don't think that this would be a good idea :( Several reasons:
-performance

1. this is only client-side effect, so the player decides if it should be enabled.
2. that's a matter of person's responsibility. adults are generally responsible.
3. agree, blood is just an effect and nothin more.
4. that's subjective opinion. I think Chuck Norris is disgusting ;).

There is only one reason there's no blood in regnum (and rarely in other mmorpgs) and with which I can agree - a lot of ppl <18. But in my opinion there should be option to enable it. And parents should decide if they like if their child is playing games with or without blood.

I must say that I hate all those awfully sweety 'good' games like Heroes Of Might And Magic series (it's only example). Hope that Regnum Online won't be such a game. In fact I'd like this game to be a bit more reallistic - better animations, better face graphics and so on. But I'm happy because the game is playable and give me a lot of fun and pleasure.
