Hello I am here to introduce myself. I just joined the community and am downloading the client on linux. This is my first real linux game and I am eager to see how things go and what is in store for me in the coming months. I really hope I enjoy this game as I do not want to have to go to d and d online or something like that. Nice to meet you all:)

I have not really decided what class and what not I should be. in previous games I have been anything from a rouge to a spell casrter...I think I would to do a theif type class if thre is anything like that...what do you guys sudjest for a begginer?

Well, any class in Regnum is easy to pick up. If you like playing thief or trickster types, I suggest hunter. Most will say the class took a big nerf but I will say, as I always have, they should learn how to play. ^^'

As for Spellcasters, Warlock is the best bet, unless you played the more ally aiding Spellcaster then Conjurer would be best. But really it all depends on what you want to play.

I take it you will be on horus? What realm do you have in mind?

I have not really decided on a realm just yet either..I am currently waiting for the game to download and I am downloading it using my motodroid with 3g connection so it is going to be awhile lol are the realms like areas that you have to defend? and is it all based on what victories each realm gets and what not? Also is there a leader board stating which realm is on top?

If you know how to torrent I suggest you do that, will take less then half the time.

Each realm has its ups and downs, drama and good days. Each one zergs another along with gets farmed at times (some more then most) Each one is also special in its own way, from players to landscape. Each realm also gets different rings and amulets. It really depends on what one appeals to you the most. My suggestion is spending time in each of the noob zones exploring and talking on realm chat. Make sure you like the place you decide on since you might be staying there for awhile.

I would love to torrent the file but not quit sure where to find it...should I just do a search in torrent finder? Thank you so much for the info. I think I will try the hunter class and I am going to look through all the realms. So is this game like conquer online where you can buy special items and what not? I tried a few games like that and they got real repetitive real fast:( but I will give this gamer a chance to the fullest:)

Thanks for the info:) I will give this game alot of chance at least 40 hours worth:) my problem in the other games was that I could never get people to talk to me or anything so I then got stuck somewhere with no help. I hope that the community is alot better in this game than most:)I am downloading in torrun right now and it is way faster...thanks again for the info.

On the whole, you will find the community pretty helpful regardless of realm and or server, there are a few trolls about, but that can be said about any game with a large community. Hope you enjoy the game

ok...it doesnt look like there is much of a difference between the servers...so I will probably pick ra I think. I can not seem to find anything on the realms so that I can make a decision that way...I still have about an hour left of download time:( really sucks. but as for now I think I am going to be a hunter and start out in RA:)

RA is more populated, but it is a spanish speaking server, for english, go to horus.

lol thanks for the info man...I would have been so mad if I would have went there and would have not being able to understand anyone lol. I will definatly go to horus for sure:) bout 45 minutes left till download is complete...I feel like I am waiting for launch on a popular mmo:)

Now I am having trouble downloading through torrent. it wont connect to anything and the regular download broke so it wants me to start over again...really sucks, to bad they could not sell a cd version of this game...I only need like 100 more mb and the game will be downloaded...just not sure what the hell is going on with the torrunt lol.

Its produced by the german publisher, gamigo, maybe you will have some problems with the language while installing it but i dont hope so.

well I almost have the game downloaded now but in the future I will look into getting the game in case I need to redo my computer or anything, but I do not really see that happening since I am no longer running windows lol but again thank you for the info I will surly pass it on:)

Download is finally finished! only took about 8 hours on a 3g speed lol. I can not wait to see how this game is...
