Which class you get to 60 first? [Archive]

Im curious, as of recent changes the class distribution seems to have changed quite a bit.

Which class do you want to bring to 60 first?

Any special reasons related to recent development?

Myself i plan to bring my Marks to 60 since its my main, even when i lost most of the fun playing it.
I might test it a little bit how it works out at 60.

Conjurer. It's my main and I have the most fun playing it.

Also because now is the best time to grind him. A lot of lvl 50 players want to hit 60 now, so a lot of big parties for me to support.

Lock cause its my only lvl 50 char. If my marks was 50 now id probably lvl him up first cause marks are way better in most situations and less frustrating.

Now i'm levelling the hunter....my main....but i'd like to have my barb too...still undecided....at least till ngd don't answer to some question like masterwarrior skill tree (if the same for all classes or specific spell for classes).

Conjurer. It's my only 50, the only class I have any fun with and feel helpful playing it. I won't grind on mobs directly anymore, just war and support clannies/friends for exp :)

I chose to grind my Barbarian since its the only char directly owned by me and is the only 50 one. Ill think about grinding my hunter and other barb to 60 after im done with Knek.

I would have done my marks but it is still low level so I'll try to do my Hunter, although I really don't like the abilities of my Hunter now.

I voted barbarian because can be the fast class atm.
After i will make Marksman..and finally conj...conj last cose of lack of amount of xp recived from suport and very tiring solo grind.

My conjurer is my only level 50, but it wasnt a question that I would have my marksmen as my first character to 60. The marksmen was just into 45 at the time of the update.

The main reason of this is grinding speed, I believe my marksmen will be faster despite being 5 levels behind. My conjurer has trouble killing mobs and gets awful xp for supporting. My marksmen can select a challenging enemy, and use normals without moving, and the mob will die before I am touched. Marksmen grinding for me is quite insane at the moment.

Funny how everyone has so much trouble getting xp while supporting. I get more than 100k xp an hour while supporting a party. No boosters of course.

When I support only 1 marks 3 lvls higher than me, I get an average of 300 xp per mob.

i've a lev 50 lock and knight.
i'm grinding first lock because it's my main, and because too many lev 50-51 players are grinding atm and i couldn't hit any mob with my knight -_-

After that, well see.. maybe barb.. or just go on waiting till bugs and SoW gets fixed and range reduced etc.. (wait forever :D)

I wanted to reach 60 with barb 1st, but gave it up coz I did phantom hits mostly and it annoyed me to death lol.
So my 1st lvl60 char will be the marks..... i think xD.

Any advice from boost-addicts on which char to level? I'm planning on blowing some of my tax return on ximerin for boosters and no-lifing (or something of the sort >.>) my way to 60 pretty soon.

Lvl 50 Conju

The conju is closer, yes, but the grind is painful. If I want to grind efficiently I'll either have to go solo (which involves a lot of clicking) or with a huge group and buff spam (which is also a lot of clicking).

The barbarian is about halfway to 43, and with the new level curve and support from my clan I'm sure I'll go pretty quick to 50. The barb grind is casual (normals, kick/feint etc) and easy, and it may take a little longer.

I'll be attempting to get my knight to level 60 first. Not in any rush however, at least not for the time being. I'm not the biggest fan of grinding, even with boosters, can think of 1001 things to do that are more entertaining.

Main reason for getting knight to 60 is the enjoyment of playing it, and the fact that it's my only level 50 character, although getting other characters to 50 is a lot easier now, so the fact that my knight is my only level 50 char didn't play a huge part in my decision to level my knight to 60.

If I had to pick a second, would probably be my conjurer as I also enjoy playing him, though the marksman is handy in times of farm!

And your knight is wonderful, to be sure. But please, Awri, conjuror before marks? We neeeeed more active conjus. I know so many but see so few lately. I keep being the only conjuror in fort battles and okay I do get shown so very much love *cough* by ignis (especially) and alsius.

My marks will be the first I get to 60, and probably the only one. It's my only character that's 50, finally after 3 1/2 yrs, or even close to 50, and the only one I really enjoy playing.

It'll probably take me a long long time as I dislike grinding with or without a booster, and am bored with it after barely 5 minutes, but yeah that's the one I'll grad. xD

I will level my conju to 60 too. My lock will stay 50 forever since it is my secondary and played only when i'm really really bored or mad. So if i have enuf time after work and parties to spam it will continue to climb pretty quick.

See you as support again after i finish. xD

On the new levelling curve it takes about a week to go from 42-55 on 200s.
You should rather summarize the pure grind time.

Eg. i made 52-57,5 on 1 day grinding ~12h i guess. Itll take a week when you do 2h a day, if you put a whole day into mindless grind obviously you can do it way faster..

The easiest class to grind at the moment is hunter. This combined with the fact that attacks will be increasingly weapon and pet dmg based as levels increase (the fixed dmg attacks will play a lesser role) we may very well have the infamous packs of trolltards back roaming the wz again, but level 60 such this time, dragging around trolls of war and similar, wantonly ganking increasingly frustrated grinders who have no option but to grind in wz. Wow, deja vu. :facepalm3:

My conju was always my main. Since the golem got introduced i didn't like to grind him anymore (never loved grinding :P).
So if i ever get a char lvl 60 it will be my barb. Just because its the most easiest class to grind imo.

I made my warlock lvl 60 first, since this is the only class I like to play in this game, no matter how much this class is getting screwed by all the "updates".

Its not as fast as say barb or maybe lock, but it is incredibly efficient, I dont know about others but I never get touched while grinding, and never run out of mana either. You just dont have quite as much firepower as some other classes.

Good for you :) I made 60 on hunter in 8 scroll hours. Already 6 hours into marx.
