XP stops at lvl 60 but what about weapon and armor drops?

I noticed that now when I kill monsters I do not obtain xp....
I also have not obtained any weapons or armor as drops from mobs...
I have obtained snake scales and coins....

What's the deal?

You still get drops after 60, i checked that out the other day

ah yes 24 hours later I got a drop ;)

(worried about repair costs)
