Did anyone find out how the event points are calculated?
For my barb it seems to be just the rp's, but that can't be true for all classes...

I made the same post (http://www.regnumonlinegame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75096) on the spanish forum, and no one knew it. NGD should say something

The rankings have been significantly changed http://www.regnumonlinegame.com/index.php?l=1&sec=21&mode=1&event=13&submode=2

Now it seems to be just the rp's - so no additional counter is necessary.
I'm sorry for the Horus players that thought they had a chance of winning the big prize and didn't sleep for a week...

Yes, it seems that Horus "gifted" NGD cash to help cover event costs . Ah well, we all were pleasantly surprised to see Horus make a showing on the leader boards.

Reality stepped in (on) us now.

In future, NGD should offer prizes to both servers. If they can afford it that is. Horus will never have much of a chance vs RA if raw RP is used. I really feel sorry for the ones on Horus that were in the lead only to realise that NGD made an error and took so long to pick up on it.

I for one will never contribute to any future events like this one once Horus has no chance or does not have a separate prize. I don't care about the prize myself but I would do what I can to help realm mates get it though. For me, NGD dropped the ball again, twice. But then , RA is the primary focus, yes?

I'm with you 100% arty. I don't care about the laptop either (and won't be playing the last week of the contest anyway), but we said right off the bat that Horus wouldn't have a chance, and this confirms it.

The easiest solution would be to have one prize per server, as was mentioned. Another is to simply weight points by 1/server-population. It stands to reason that the more populated the realm, the more opportunities you have to gain RP and that skill level based on RP should be normalized in proportion.

Finally, I don't think these benchmarks are entirely RP based, since I didn't get 9000 rp in the last week.

Care to explain this then?

Hello,

Efectively, One Alienware point it's equivalente to a Regnum Point (RP). Maybe some of you are confused because an error in the game's data base thar, in some cases, showed a bigger number than the real one the obtained.

Nevertheless, the problem have been solved and the users who present this issue in their accounts were properly informed.

Best regards. Thread closed.
