lucky boxes?

ok today i charged the max xim and go a bunch of lucky boxes for my hunter.

every single weapon was a shortbow range 25 fast speed...

:facepalm3: I wanted a long bow!


I was holding my shortbow at the time...


my question is "is the weapon obtained by box going to be similar to what weapon we are holding?"

i.e. hold long bows to get longbow?

if you guys want the weapons let me know.... 2 epic 2 magical shortbows


too bad amun is down ... I would love to do some tests!

No, its completely random. However you get items with a certain level out of the boxes. On some Item levels the chance to get the same items is high as there are only 2 or 3 different bows in that item level range. Might be your on a level where there is only *one*.

first bow = ancient shortbow

seconds = ancient shortbow

Same for me in past year for all my classes.
If you buy and open lucky boxes all together after you buy them,seems you have the same kind of weapon...or anyway different kind but crappy.
I usually open one,log off some hour,when i relog in game open another one,then log off some hour again,then open another one when i relog etc etc...
The result?!
I have never hade a good weapon from lucky boxes...NEVER,but open them in different log-on session gived me different kind of wepon.
Anyway...support this game is good,but if you do it to recive a good weapon.....is really hard...all the wepon i use were dropped/buy from others players.
I use ximerin just to paint my armur,or to buy clothes,or to move gems from weapons...nothing more.

Actually, I have gotten bows as much as 5 lvls below the level you can actually buy them at.
I don't know if that behaviour (bug) has been changed.

i think lucky boxes should be replaced by a custom item making tool.
like you have a weapon/armour of choice and a number of "points" similar to your setup making and then you can devide them in the number of slots and effects you want.

this way you:
-have what you want
-don't loose so much money
-i think this would be buyed more cause it's reliable

and the "we don't want to put premium users before non-premium users"-thing is bullox
so don't bring it in here :p

Blood the point is another one,that is expressed in this thread too.
Ppl buy more lucky box till they don't find what they want.
If you can chose where to put the points on an epic item,you could be happy at the first attempt.
So you will not buy another lucky box.
So the game earn less money.
A single person can spend more money because is unhappy of his lucky box output,then 100 happy person that have what they want.

Lucky boxes make more money. Who would buy 50 lucky boxes if you could get your desired item for 20k xim ? :play_ball:

Good player don't need boxes to be good. Stop crying idiots... Thats RealmvsRealm game not player vs player. Teamwork is the most important.

I really wish you waste money on these random drops. Try to get it from mobs- be normal or like what you got by xim or already have.

Boxes are the worst things in this game... Really thanks for making them dropping randoms, not only uber gear- ppl pay, ppl cry ;)

I once bought 50 LB on Amun. :) And believe me, that random generator is not working properly. Now I buy gold lucky boxes not platinum - it seems to be more random.

I could get on my mage royal or blood staff, or warlock gloves 15 times in a row.

Also I think we should be able to pick item level (up to what we currently have), because e. g. elven staves are usualy level 47 and I wanted one with CS.
