Fix the horse bug...

NGD is it soo hard too fix that stupid horse bug where you start riding you get moved back 10 meters.

it gets me killed ALOT of times, and the bugg has been here for like AGES!

Premium items are simply not supposed to give an advantage in war, so if there's anything about it that doesn't work "properly" it's the fact that you can use it to escape enemies when you otherwise would die.

Simple solution: 10s casting time instead of 3s + 7s because of this bug. :P

No, no and no. It doesn't give you an advantage in war, it just helps you to get faster to places.. some people don't want to wait 10 years before they arrive at war.

Ofcourse it should, casting is casting.. even though it's not a buff, attack spell, heal or something of that kind.. you still are casting.

No, no and no. It doesn't give you an advantage in war, it just helps you to get faster to places.. some people don't want to wait 10 years before they arrive at war.

I think we already went over this, if it doesn't give any advantage in war then escape from those 10 guys chasing you on foot, and you won't have to worry about the 2 second lag when you mount it. If it gives no advantage in war, it doesn't matter how long it takes you to mount it, because you won't be mounting it with enemies around... so increase the cast time. Herp-a-derp.

it's not a bug per say. it's a measure put in place to cap the insane casting speed that mage have (100% cs from arcane devotion) when casting horse. I guess NGD dont' want mage to get up on the horse that fast compared to other classes :)

Im not talkin about that im talkin about I cant simply cast my horse when I click cast it doesn't respond... Time master saved my ass alot but this godfuckingdamnshitbug got me killed alot >.<

ppl can do whatever they want to survive in the warzone. running away might be a smart move in some circumstances. Nobody is gonna stand there and let u kill him when he is low on hp. Besides, killing a person or winning a pvp in the warzone doesn't mean you are better than him. It's HOW you kill him that defines you :)

There is (or is it fixed?) this bug where you teleport back when starting to ride off right after mounting up on at least the Alsius Light Horse. I doubt that was intended since on my cat this never happened.

Yes and i *think* i suspect what's the reason under this bug, although if i'm correct this would affect all mounts. NGD has wisely implemented in their servers some sort of check to each "move" command to deal with speedhackers and/or "self-teleporters" (or so i suppose, lets just say for NGD's rasons). I dont know the exact mechanism behind this, i only know the effect on you cause i have witnessed it myself on somebody else's computer. When your client tells the server to change your location too much within a certain time frame the server decides that this "move" command was illegal and moves you back to your starting position. I have confirmed this. I guess the "too much" parameter is based on what moving speed is considered to be valid or not.

Now what this video illustrates is exactly what happens when you issue a perceivably illegal move command. I suspect that lag plays also a role in this buggy situation. The server receives the commands "cast horse" and "move" (with the first being received once and the second continuously). I can't figure what exactly but *something* messes your move command so that the server thinks corrections should be applied to your position and... voila, your back at the point you started moving.

I cannot do any checks/tests on the above since that would require on my part:
--- to use Microsoft Windows
--- to install a memory hack tool
--- to use the memory hack tool in the game and mess with NGD themselves face to face :P

Just pointing out something i have found in case it helps this bug to get fixed ;)

Its both the you get teleported back 10 meters horse bug and the you can't cast horse, I got both...

I didnt read whole thread but i noticed this bug mostly happens if you are alsius. On RA im playing in alsius and this bug happen like 99% of times when i cast my light horse. In Syrtis instead i can cast my horse and it happens very rarely.

And now there is new bug around; sometimes you cant cast horse. You arent dizzy, no confuse etc

I paid real life money and i got bugged premium stuff. Guess am i gonna buy more ximerins to get more bugged premium stuff? (offtopic; bugged warbanners, my lvl 50 warlock get ONLY tiaras from platinum lucky boxes etc)
