Spell Usefulness

Just curious which spells for each class do u consider to be the most used/usefull and which ones the most unused/useless?

Hunter:

Overused - Ensnaring.

Underused - ...

Marksmen:

Overused - Ethereal Arrow.

Underused - Anything that takes more than an iota of skill, generally speaking.

Conjurer:

Overused - Heal (lol).

Underused - ...

Warlock:

Overused - Meteor.

Underused - Wind Wall (Fix this NGD!)

Barbarian:

Overused - Roar.

Underused - ...

Knight:

Overused - Army of One (:punk:)

Underused - Shield Bash (Get rid of the cast time)

underused: Camouflage Corpse

Warlock
overused: Meteor, Lightning, Ice blast
underused: Petrify Hands, Laziness, Wind Wall, Fragility, Golem Fist, Sadistic Guards, Cremation, Possess Summoning, Elemental Exposure

Conjurer
overused: Heal (lol), Mana pylon, Mana communion
underused: Summon Imps, Summon Zombies, Shifting Silhouette,

Knight
overused: Armo of One, Defensive stance, Precise Block, Kick, Feint
underused: Challenge, Ethereal Mantle

Barbarian
overused: Berserk, Deafening Roar, Unstoppable Madness, Spring, Beast Attack
underused: Threat, Destabilize, Whirlwind

It's actually too hard to name up all the most used spells of every class in the game. Besides, most setups differ from eachother so if one person doesn't use the spell it doesn't mean it's uneffective infact, there are pretty much spells that are 'wasted' by people because they copy eachothers setup. Just try your own setup and see how it fits you, and making your own setup is actually fun so yeah..

Top useless archer's powers:

- Finesse
- Obfuscate
- Spell Elude
- Cat Reflexes

Top useless hunter's powers:
- Camouflage corpse
- Death Sentence
- Tame Lesser Creature

Those can be trashed and replaced by useful spells.

Death Sentence isn't useless, it just needs way less cool down.

General archer spells, I agree

I use a beetle...
Death sentence is great for longer lasting targets or to up your pet's dmg, but as seher said, needs a shorter cd

In a sence, tbh i was mainly just curious but Mabey Ngd see this and rethink some spells. SO many spells that noone uses or vry few use. Make them more usefull and then u have more various setups.

I agree, the small pool of spells that are actually used is quite a shame. The majority are left untouched by 99% of players 99% of the time.

While it would be fantastic to see this change, so most spells are useful and we can see more lean in setups towards offence/defence/control its a bit job and I'm unsure where to start, and our balance as it is isn't great :P

If NGD gets ideas for spells that may help balance they will no doubt pull one of the lesser used ones. Though they do sometimes misjudge it, see track ally cut for camo corpse :)
