The only fight that would be showing something wrong with balance would be the lock+hunter vs me but even then a good lock+good hunter could have killed me. Especially with my lag.

You humped a tree basically the entire fight so my CCs were worthless until I got you into open field with ~2k hp and you were still unable to kill me. Any good marks would have been able to kill me pretty easily.

A grind setup doesn't consist of BoW since it doesn't do anything against mobs. So you were not on a complete grind setup. You also had buffs and the like which are, for marks, not needed vs mobs unless you are really dumb, or have no other choice but to attack ranged mobs.

If you were attacked by a lvl 40 hunter and could not kill him at lvl 55+ (which your marks is) without BoW but yet you had buffs. You are worse then I thought.

I don't only play horus...I play Raven as well and I will possibly be playing Nemon more actively. If you would like to buy me a 45 scroll+boosters for the others servers I will be more then willing to play there and record. If not then don't try to tell me where to play.

I use to think being great at PvP meant you were a good marks but now I just think it means you are great at pvp. And, in my opinion, if you are great at pvp but bad at war then that just makes you a decent marks and vice versa.

Green Angel is lvl 55-57 and I have no doubt with some decent/good gear. My (new) marks is lvl 53 with some pretty shitty gear.
But, as you and most people I have played with know, I have no problem pvping anyone that I think is a good/great marks or that I think I would have fun pvping.

Green Angel is not one of those people that I think is a good/great marks or I would have fun pvping. I can already see the fight being him hiding behind a tree/obstacle most of the time or me completely destroying him. Both scenarios would be a waste of my time and just confirm what I already know.

Short story. I went on Amun with Emin to pvp and somebody from RA started talking shit to him, he pvped him. The first fight he killed the guy and still had 3/4 hp. 2nd fight he had full hp at the end (I think :p). It was pretty funny

You could say that the skill level of a player is "capped" in this way.

Yes, he raped me in pvp but I never mentioned my level or gear vs his because, like I told him, I don't think I would beat him in pvp at lvl 60 but I think we would have some good fights.

Just fyi, I pvped him with a lvl 52 marks and with a lot of my gear given away. He was lvl 60 with all his gear. I believe I got him down to half hp and 3/4ths hp.

Van is one of the best players I have fought against and fought with. I don't know any players that have played with him or seen him play a decent amount of time that would honestly say Van is anything less then a good player. So maybe you should know someones background before you try to make up stupid assumptions about them.

Also, pvp isn't the only thing that decides whether a player is good or not and a lot of pvp is decided upon resists+gear. Maybe one day you will learn that.

Another thing, there is no fact that they are the 2 best marksman in RO. It is an opinion. I think they are 3 of the best but since there are players I do not know about and players I have never seen play, I will not say 100% they are the 3 best.

Alenox, Gestern, Heph, Rakenow and a bunch of other players all have lvl 50+/- chars on Raven.

There are a lot of good players that play on Raven. Compost and Immune, imo, the 2 best hunters to ever play in alsius/horus, both play regularly on Raven.

I think you're unable to read, because I clearly stated several reasons that did not involve a player's personal skill that determine the outcome of fights, plus there's the fact that when they PvPed Emin was 8 levels higher... Not to mention I didn't deny that they were some of the best marksmen in regnum, only that there are other players who are on the same level. As for being jealous, I consider myself to be on their level also. Get over it.

This comment kind of seems out of left-field, and i'm going to have to respond a bit aggressively to it.

I was orignally considered one of the best Hunters on RA, going head to head even with Wudy and Compost in the old days. Then when I moved to Horus, I was considered one of the best Marksmen, being called "an Enio" more than once by others. Now I play on Raven and I am constantly praised for my skill level. And all of this comes from others, not me. Failure had nothing to do with switching servers, it's just that NGD imposes changes or resetrictions on the old servers that make them suck to play.

Some players also just want a server with less or more players, or with a different time of day, or a different primary nationality, or different general attitudes. Don't judge a player by what server they play on... it's just rediculous. I know you fight beside many like me on several servers and know that to be true.

I sometimes, rarely play Emin's character on Raven ( Prolly never because when I log in there is literally no action, Time difference perhaps?)... he shares the opinion with me and Torcida that people who joined Raven and left their own Underpopulated Realm/Server behind are seen as cowards.
That's our way of seeing them, maybe you have a different opinion that's up to you but me and Torcida are just mad on people who left Alsius/Horus because they were underpopulated.

We wouldn't care about other Greens leaving, that would only balance the game more.

Alenox, Gestern, Heph, Rakenow and a bunch of other players all have lvl 50+/- chars on Raven.

There are a lot of good players that play on Raven. Compost and Immune, imo, the 2 best hunters to ever play in alsius/horus, both play regularly on Raven.

There goes that fail argument and I only mentioned 2 players.

Compost and Immune... please don't let me start about them, they both are nice people for sure but it sure does hurt when 2 of your best hunters leave the realm. No words for that.

On the raven subject, Yes they all have chars, so do I so does Torcida but we don't play them that often.... The time I'm active on Raven can't even be compared to my activity on Horus. I know this is the same for Hepha as he told me he returned to Alsius and I see Alenox online pretty often on Ra so not sure if that's him or a friend or something but that would mean he does the same.

I left because of timezone issues. Horus was a dead zone whenever I played. Apparently this makes me a coward. :cuac:

I've been logging on Horus more lately in the afternoon (my time) to conj it up a bit though, things seem to be looking up I guess. I'll have to manage playing on both servers xD

I apologize for the confusing diction, I was merely trying to reply using your own words. Torcida and you are clearly doing much more than just asking. You're calling anyone who left Alsius cowards and terrible players, and blaming them for weakening your realm as if they're obligated to play where you want them to or something. This thread has outlived its usefulness. At the start, one player began harassing another because he didn't like his playing style (specifically killing a self-proclaimed "grinder"), and then many other discussions got intertwined with alot of humor, angst and disgust to result in the current thread. It's become nothing but "let's tell other players how much they suck" emulation of Runescape or Planeshift style behavior. Being closed by a moderator at this point would actually be too good for it.

People have actually been quite civil on the forums for the last year or so. Let's not return to the previous era.
