I dont know how they look like in-game but they look awfull when I see them on the pictures ><', So now they made a unicorn, alienwaremount, and these horses that all look like eachother ><'.

It's not that simple for me, NGD is wasting Time, how many unicorn mounts do you see in Horus? Maybe 2-3, they are wasting time with making too-expensive-to-buy mounts...

On Amun, just prior to the Warmasters update, I remember seeing a German player with the red version of these new mounts. Maybe I'm mistaken, but are these mounts new? or did NGD just choose to release them for us only now?

This was German only mount Aasi Well known tho but it have nly ones who bought DVD with game :D

I am agree with bois....some of cloths just dose not feet with this game....

Game become just a Zoo garden....some more originality of clothing and maybe weapons/shields...

Samurai or vikings armors or so i will like more ,even huge fur armors for barbarians....will be cool...but what next?...lions costume?,lizard?.....Hulk and Spiderman costume?...pff

I'd still rather see NGDs graphics guys working on greater variety of weapon models, mobs, armours(realm specific?), animation... But I suppose they don't pull in the cash like these mounts do :|

Yes. For that reason on german servers you now are just able to buy the green and the blue horse. If you want the red one you have to get your high priced DVD:facepalm3:

But who cares for the paintwork as long as all have just one horsepower ;)

They are just beating a dead horse , so to speak. Have we ever seen any serious attempt to sell middle age or medieval period armours? History is littered with so much stuff that they could bring here and still fit the theme.

I can't remember any but if you guys do please refresh my memory.

A fair point :) I was thinking more as in general stuff that's already in the game, greater diversity in weapons so that royal/abyssal/evendim hammers don't all look the same and so on, this resource reuse is very noticeable early in the game. The majority of 1h swords are the same until around level 40.

I suppose selling armour/weapon skins would probably work out well. I say skins because if they have good stats, people will moan about it, if they have rubbish stats, people will moan about it :P

If I were setting this up, I'd sell them as a statless skin that you can apply to any gear you currently have, much in the same was as item fusions are done.

Guys, please calm down. Creation of new horse models don't affect bugs and balance improvement at all. Because there is special department responsible for new mounts creation which is named - "Horse Department" and the manager is:

Yes they do, the artists and coders are separate, artists don't play with balance for example.

Yet as stated, it would be nice to see the artists do something different that putting out mounts. We have the castles coming, and the fort rework looks great. More stuff like that would be nice.

All these mounts etc. seem to be redundant, but it keeps ngd alive.

We are under pressure to enhance certain aspects of the game that you may don't care about but regnum (just look at the registriation numbers) is bringing much more new users than before.

This users are not people that where looking for something like Regnum (organic users) but people that just clicked on Advertizement. Retaining this users is more difficult and obvious stuff like graphics or being able to jump are very important to them.

Our partners are investing a lot of money to bring in this users so we have to balance their requests alongside yours.
We never had more people working on Regnum since we launched the new graphics engine. Good things are coming, as always, we need you to be patient. I hope you can also be less negative about us adding obviously needed improvements such as jumping.

Btw, NGD is really fixing some things...
I just recognized that there is no more "you have defeated yourself", caused by ethereal arrow.
And the Chars Problem on Amun is fixed "(Ra)", "(Horus)" \o/

Again I must explain the same things.

Artists that work on this kind of things do not work on Balance or Save systems.

The rollback to the old save system has ben postponed for reasons that I explained before.

Mounts do not keep us alive, actually they don't sell very well either.

This was actually requested by a partner, we decided that if we where going to do the effort of creating these mount variations we should actually make them available on all servers.

The good thing about mounts compared to weapons or armors is that they can be used by the whole userbase... in case of weapons we have to make at least 10-12 variations (for all subclasses including warrior's different weapon types)

Also they are easy to market as they look cool.

I personally would like to see mounts jump.

After we get lvl 60 all we can basically spend Xim on are mounts and uniforms.
So for sure I would love to see more mounts/uniforms.

What I would really love would be crossbows for hunters.
Small compact crossbows that do not take up so much space on screen.

You can keep the same animation if you make a crossbow that attaches to our wrists. (Thanks for the early christmas present!)

Well the issue with mounts is that once you got one, there's no point having another besides for the look. I honestly believe that most of the regular players have a mount noadays... Another issue with them is that they are only made for transport from A to B and not useable in war, so there's no real point having an unique mount..

Maybe create new costumes/clothings/armors instead and why not new haircuts, face styles, new character customisations as there's really not much of them at the moment, making everyone look the same....

I believe people prefer to spend money on customizing their character rather than on a mount...

Also... Well... These fancy mounts are really overpriced. There's a huge money gap between the light horse and the nice looking ones, however they are the same in features besides for the waving horse action... Maybe if you tone down their prices people would look at them rather than the light one.

Maybe it would help selling new mounts if it would be possible to change mounts in the shop. So if you have a light horse and want a new one, sell the light horse inside Ximshop and get the other one for a lower price. I guess many players would change mounts that way.

It feels very unnatural that the mounts do not jump, and in some cases can make a route from A to B faster by walking.

It has been my personal experience that almost all players in the game tend to have a mount, and the only ones that don't generally cannot buy Xim due to your poor support system. The problem is that most of these players are only buying light horses because buying the other mounts offers no advanced functionality.

Other problems are that the look of a mount is static, it is not paintable and you can't armor it or anything.

I suggest to implement Horse upgrade scroll, where player can upgrade his horse look to other available. Ie, I have Light Horse, and I want to have that Green Horse. I buy Upgrade Horse scroll that turns the look of my horse in inv to the one I pick.

Also, for War horses.. I thought because they have armor unlike others, that you'd allow coloring their armor too.

Quick money you can get from char customization, because char represents player in game. And also player have in front of him his char on screen whole the time, and only 20% of time horse (to catch up with war, travelling from A to B). But please try to keep customization options within the medieval theme of the game. I suggest more colors available. White and gold would be probably a good initial addition.
