Well if im right they say they will do every 2weeks a update orsomethings. So if they say somethings than i care. Same with the top players of the week. They make/say somethings and than they just forgot/ignores it. Also with the thread ASK NGD.

On the second day: Came forth the concept art
On the third day: There was much coding, and an engine was born
On the fourth day: There was much construction, and a world came into being
On the fifth day: The bugs were born, and we kinda just let them be

Didn't have it in mind at the time but I suppose it kinda fits :p

Honestly though, this is one reason I hardly play now, communication, meeting deadlines, following through with plans ... these things are a rarity when dealing with NGD.

What they have achieved is very impressive considering where they started out and what they have to work with, but there's a difference between putting up with that because they provide a great game to play, and putting up with that in the hope that one day the game will feel fun again.

It is not only about balance but about everything. Ngd did make a poll some weeks ago so what they gonna do?? It is also they say somethings than they do it and 1-2weeks later it is just gone and dont have time for it or gave up. I told my mates to try out this game. But they didnt understand why the homepage is full of old crap shit. So i said they are buzzy with making great updates. Than my mates say what abouts tell me? Than i say ummmh....... IDK i dont have info about it. So they was making fun about it.

What i mean with this we life in 2011 come on....

Indeed, for all we know they've turned into Llamas.

The start of this balance cycle had a lot riding on it, for me at least, it delivered some decent changes but left a lot un-addressed (pointlessness of hunters, lock damage, barbs situational over/under poweredness, assorted classes range, walls on forts now losing a lot of their defense value in exchange for looking nice, continuation of gate-centric war, beacons and so on) and that statement of balance tweaks every other week has translated into nothing.

And we can see in Bois gathering of dev comments thread that there are some interesting things they are working on, supposedly, instancing and such, but when you only hear some a dev after much nagging and its just a slip about a feature that may or may not eventually surface in a year or two its very disheartening. I mean when did we first hear about dual wield? That was "on the cards" for ages before we even got a basic animation test video.

I once thought that given the resources NGD could do great things here, but as time has gone on they've seemingly grown as a company (new projects, staff etc) but Regnum has only gone downhill, such a waste.

Ahh well. Skyrim.
