Next release, Amun, Christmas event, etc... ?

Christmas is very near now, and upcoming release isn't yet on Amun.

When do you (NGD) expect to launch the new update ?
Can we have a slight view of upcoming changes ?

I worried about a pre-Christmas release coming with usual bugs and issues, and i guess bugs will not be fixed during Christmas holidays (while many people will play).

Please don't break the game for weeks...

What about no christmas event? Let the boys in Buenos Aires work on important and usefull things skip the event and continue with important stuff, Its not like we need another christmas hat....

Not my idea, GameSamba's.
If GameSamba's newsletter communication is correct then this is what Raven will get for their event. Last time I checked, NGD does the coding for their stuff too so the boys in Buenos Aries have already done the work and taped out this event. If they do roll an event for us, it would be taxing (though not impossible) to code 2 event sets for 2 discreet markets. If they built the event already then the smartest thing is to roll it out on Horus/RA/others too.
Unless of course they suspect it would be exploitable because of lack of policing (no GM presence).

Didn't read the posts in this topic untill now, so I didn't know they already made one it appears they did, well then ofcourse also let it go live on the other servers, Though My post would count if they still didn't think of any event for christmas.

The ability to gift xim items to players is a very old suggestion and I'd be really glad if this event was allowing us to do it.
I hope it's a permanent change, gifting Xim items would not affect incomes at all, I'd even say the contrary since it'd allow people to buy things for people who can't themselves.

Well I know this'd be better to have some event that boosts war and unusual action instead like the old halloween one or the purple fever, but well it's christmas we can make a break once a year (also why the central island is open) :D

As much as I would miss HotW, it'd be fun for a while to have good old bridge wars and open field fights back, where the use of CCs actually made an impact. Now you just cast and hope the effect of the CC works, because 60% of the time you can be certain that the player you target is under beacon.

Yea would be cool :D I only skilled the wm tree for horn of the wind. If that was the first spell in the tree i think there werent anymore allot beacons.
