This is primarily possible because of the boats "feature". It makes possible for enemies to enter realm before gate is down and eventually to abuse some bug. A fix can be gem to be possible to be get out only from gate else to be returned to realm where it was stolen from. Whole invasion idea is flawed.

Well if "great player" (pretty noobish i mean) from our realm have the gem we can not stop that. We can not kill it - there is no friendly fire so far. All we can do is try to talk and stuff...

Still Syrtis realm is not guilty for some tards. Gem needs to be returned, wish removed, glitcher punished. That's it.

Generalizing about whole realm is not the way. We can say same about other two and it will sound pretty fine. You have pretty good number of tards too.

As this was not the first time this had happened recently, I say NGD should take upon consideration a radical proposal being whole realm punishment. My simple idea is to take away their gems for a whole week, yet not make them devastated. It's not a really thought through idea, but it's just to get those balls hanging in the air; there are plenty things to do like lock Alsius and Ignis boats from Syrtis, take away the nobles, you get the picture.

Whole realm punishment is the best (not implying it will always work however), because the wrong doers will finally learn not to spread shit around once they get fingers pointed at them. Being from Ignis, I can speak of a similar situation when we had Tenax taken away from us once for about 10 days or so, because a certain group of people bugged the dragon on top of a rock so they wouldn't take damage, kinda like what's happening to Evendim lately. But that's a bit irrelevant, anyway.

I completely agree with an idea like above and not just because I'm from the evil bad red tomato pignis realm who hates treehugging gelfs. I prefer to set aside BS like that and look at the facts. It's just a game, but I'd condemn any kind of that behavior even if it's my own realm. But then again I'm not in charge around here.

Actually, I do agree. It's rather looked upon as a foolish and unsteady idea, because of everyone's personal liberty, specially this just being the internet - because, yes, it is obvious you can't shut everyone up or set that everyone straight. You were always complaining about other players cheating/glitching/ abusing something. You were also a sworn enemy to multirealmers and ppl who left a certain realm for another one. Now that you've joined Ignis, you're pretty much doing the same, only against syrtis now. I guess you're just that kind of player.

Just a matter of time before you join Alsius... Oh wait you already have.

Stop thinking it's only one realm that abuses bugs or glitches.

Personal attacks and grievances aside, this problem remains two fold.
First is player moral compass and second is the mechanics of invasions.

Unfortunately NGD cannot legislate human behaviour and as such adding punitive actions will not solve much. If there were some mechanism to formulate a reputation system in-game where players from the same realm would be able to give reputation, then that might be an idea. Such a thing would be terribly difficult to formulate as it could be so easily abused.

As for the other unfortunate issues, I fear that the way Invasions is currently constructed it leaves the door open for all kinds of questionable actions.
Bottom line is that Invasions needs a thorough overhaul. An update dedicated to just that.

I have made some quick suggestions before. Briefly I will restate them.
1. Eliminate Noble quest.
2. Eliminate boats or make it a challenge to use the boats. (only reason for boats is to get noble quest easier)
3. The endgame of invasions should play out in the warzone. If not the final chapter, the meat of invasion should be in the war zone and especially including those huge castles.
4. Invasions needs multiple objectives. Objectives that will force armies and the players within to have to make choices and either split up or go after a target as one.
5. War Formulas to temporarily negate negative wishes without actually having to open a portal. (some kind of artifact capture or something. Maybe abduct a NPC or something interesting)
6. Prevention or reduction of negative feedback loops causing utter frustration and a negative snowball effect on weaker realms.
7. Slow invasion components down so that players of different timezones can participate and contribute to an overall effort.

Invasions should be hard as heck to pull off. The portal opening part that is. Having multiple side objectives will keep entertainment going and reduce the mindless dribble we have now.

How do you know we don't? Cause some of us abide by forum rules and put stuff in the proper place. Ie. a ticket and even at times a PM to a Dev. I can honestly say I have reported just as many people from my own realm as other realms for things I believed where cheating or against the rules. I did my part and did it the proper fashion. Not some trollfest post on forum that accomplishes nothing an will end up being closed like the rest of them. If NGD decides not to act on reports that is there own decision to make. An from watching prior occurences of NGD stances vs people who abuse flaws in there game just cause they can or to prove a point...my thought is NGD won't do a damn thing as usuall. But hey who knows maybe they will decide to have a zero tolerance policy to abuse now, I personally just wouldn't count on it.

I have taken screens of your glitch/speedhack and running with the gem and our chat where you brashfully justified your action, and ngd will get them.

I doubt that we purposely turned the topic to off-topic. Sometimes it just might be too hard to resist temptation to answer something that is off-topic when someone says something utterly stupid, like we have seen here.
All make mistakes sometimes, I understand when people find "epic glitch" like this one they might lose their sense for moment etc. Therefore perma ban is imo too much, I would go for perma ban only if same person abuse the same bug couple of times. Warning should be enough and the gem returned to right realm.

I doubt that we purposely turned the topic to off-topic. Sometimes it just might be too hard to resist temptation to answer something that is off-topic when someone says something utterly stupid, like we have seen here.
All make mistakes sometimes, I understand when people find "epic glitch" like this one they might lose their sense for moment etc. Therefore perma ban is imo too much, I would go for perma ban only if same person abuse the same bug couple of times. Warning should be enough and the gem returned to right realm.

I might have abused something in past too and regreted it and now just been happy no one raported me and didnt get banned. Im quite sure those syrtians who abused the gems arent very proud of it anymore. They surely know they did wrong. As said, everyone make mistakes. At the moment it might feel like good idea but later you might notice that was not so great idea..
