Ignis red gem is bugged in WZ

Hello, we have small accident in Horus.
Sand storm / UFO / Frosk took our gem.
We can't dig, it's visible on map, but if you get its position there is no gem.

Help :P

Funny, i saw that on Amun some week ago with a blue gem. Is the gem not on the pedestal? Maybe its just a visual bug on the map but the gem is still where it should be?

This has happened on german servers more than once. I'm not sure but if i remember correctly the reason is a gem carrier that crashes.
In some cases we were waiting weeks for a solution(server restart?).

I can confirm this. It happened on Nemon yesterday, the gem carrier crashed as well.

When the gem carrier crashes (not disconnects), with a gem, the gem disappears into oblivion. There is no hope to get it back except a developer.

finally NGD introduced their feature they already mentioned in may 2011.

New: System that deactivate the realm Gems during times of low population in the game world. The system doesn’t allow capturing the gems in predefined time schedules. During this time, the gems will be blocked by a visual effect.

I don't know what happened but it's alright now.

I remember I crashed with a gem about 3 months ago so I tried to login but it kept crashing and after 5 attempts I logged on, with the gem in my hands at agg save xD

The door was still broken, maybe these guys crashed when door was save? that guy from Nemon did.

About thread and this fix, you bugged it, you pay.
I don't count how many times you glitched gem, even today after Surak left your realmmate tried to glitch red one.

I don't think that Surak did this to punish us. He logged in, saw all gems belonging to Ignis besides the bugged one which was still close to wall, and decided that the fastest way to unbug the situation was to give it to Ignis.

Remember that the gem carrier crashed, so nothing would have guaranteed that this gem could have reached Syrtis. Then again it should have been done hours/days ago instead of now, this would have prevented the current/next drama.

About the -XP wish, if you did it because Syrtis glitched gems several times lately I guess this is justified (and I personally think it's deserved), but remember you are punishing an entire realm for the actions of some players.
