Hi there.
I have problem with game.
I'm a new player and it's normal that I had to download the game.
Ok, I download, install and I try start.
When I accept "terms and conditions ...", login etc. I finally can start the game.
When games start, displays the image and the game is not going to run.
I don't know wtf.
Can everyone help me?

My PC spec:
CPU: AMD Sempron 3000+ 1.6 GHz (it's dual core)
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce 8400GS 512MB GDDR2
RAM: 2x 1GB

I must play in window mode.

What is the actual error that it gives you?

When Chilkor came to the new Island,she told us that she was using a new PC she just built from spare parts at the office.complaining of only 9 fps.

funny enough,she was also using the same graphics card you have.

maybe thats the problem?

also the game wont run properly if your internet isnt fast enough,ive tried on a mobile wireless broadband connection and it just stops half way.

If this is not enough proof that nobody should ever take you as a reliable source, then so be it, Chilko is a woman.


And he didn't complain, he just said he was going to kill someone because the island was having performance troubles, I was the one that pointed it out. It's not just because of the graphics card.

I must play in window mode.

Try to switch opengl to direct3d or the other way:) in options before you start the game.

for a low end graphics card you need to play the game on Shader model 2 or Shader model 3.

Please try that

I was getting 9 FPS in the whole game.
Not on the island.
i wanted to kill someone because of the crappy video card they gave me! :)

anyway, the game ran fine on shader model 2.

I've always had around 9 fps with my laptop's nvidia Geforce card. But then again, I run the linux client. After a while you don't notice it any more :p

I dont have a low graphic cart still it i have around 30fps and playing shader 3.0. I bought a gaming pc still i cant play shader model 4.0

WTF ?!!? OpenGL or DirectX ? ,from last update with new UI for me on OpenGL 150-170 fps are history...now max 60 fps...

Haha Billy i told you many times they f*ed you at the shop you can call a notebook with i3 cpu and nvidia 310 anything but NOT a gaming pc! :D

140? What are those numbers? My highest ever fps was 55 xD
(yes i have a crappy pc, which crashes all the time. What to do, I'm poor xD)

I used to play with 150 fps everything maxed out but then my pc took an arrow to its knee.

No seriously I could play with 90 fps everything maxed out a year ago. Now I'm playing with 70 fps without Shadows/Terrain details.

Pretty much the same here with a GTX 550 (But using VSync to avoid tearing most of the time).

To the opening poster, maybe you could start by forcing safe mode.

By the way, what operating system are you running there?

Anyway go into the options on your launcher and start with the force safe mode. If you can get in then you can try by gradually adjusting the settings upwards from shader 2.0 etc. (untick safe mode at that time)
If you have 'update all resources at once' ticked, untick that. Untick weapon beams and wepon trails in the advanced dialog box.
Of course double check and make sure that your video card drivers are up to date and if you run windows, that direct X is also up to date.
Good luck and post screen shots and any other messages you get from the game. The more info presented the better the community will be able to help.

Well, for me Shader 4.0 doesn't even work. Game crashes every time I start game with it. Shader 3.0 only.

GPU: Radeon HD 6490M, of course laptop :P

On topic - This once happened to me actually and it was my anti virus preventing the game from running, have u ever tried letting ro through your list?

btw, I had the same problem with you berz when I reinstalled the game and here is how I solved. when it says entering game world wait 5 seconds and press alt+enter. Then you will be able to make a char etc. when you finally can experience gameplay press "o" and then change resolution of game so you wont have to do the same thing each time you log in. I hope this will help
