Ohhhhhh, he doesnt want to defect. He wants to drown himself.
The poor guy was sick of his underpaid and thankless job as a Samal-guard.
We really need a minium wage for them...

In the meantime he was badly missed by his buddies at Samal. He left a gap *sniff*

i saw something similar like that, but it happen in menira

1 of our ignis friends was attacking a monster from far away and then i noticed the guard starting to run to a far point in the prairie so i followed him only to see he helped kill the monster that was attacking one of our allies.
