Just do experiments. You can always change the points distribution by using /reset_powers command (type it in chat). Using it you can try all combinations. Pick up the best that suits you. :)

well man, it needs time to figure it out. I think that you have to decide of what to pick according on your style. About archer spells... when you decide what you want to be(hunter or marksman) then you can ask me again

Pick Longbow tree. skill shield piercing (2).
For the evasion tree, you can put some points in mobility to do your quests faster.

I think they other spells aren't very usefull at your lvl. After lvl 10 you can start using other spells.

And if you dont like it, just type: /reset_powers
and choose something else.

I thought for a moment that this thread was somekind of guide on how to train discipline to an out of control realm. I thought; theres still hope for Syrtis! \o/

When you are under lvl 7 you can kill easy with just shield piercing (long bow)

First thing in game should be to visit the archer trainer and reset your powers with the command "/reset_powers". It will free up some points that are initially put into skills you dont really have use for at that level. Now you can put these into Shield piercing lvl2 in the Longbow tree. Its undoubtedly the best skill for damage on low levels as it has a high damage independent from the bow damage, a short cooldown&casttime and is quite cheap on mana.

If you chose to become a marksman you should get "Recharged arrows" lvl2 once you hit lvl 10. As hunter youll want to put points in taming tree for a pet and probably into Ensnaring arrow for its nice damage and cooldown.

From lvl13 on you want to get points in is the passive "Lightness" in the Shortbow discipline to boost your normal hits damage. As Marksman youd want to have a look into serpent bite as its cheap and has very nice damage, a long cooldown though.

From lvl 21 on ou can get lvl3 powers, upp all important spells successivlly as you get more Discipline points, i would start with shield piercing to 3 though.
