[Amun] - Magnanites.

Hi everyone!

I'm writing these lines to announce that, in Amun, magnanites are tradeable again.

The idea of this is to actually perform as much testing as we can to confirm that everything's working fine when it comes to Magna Commerce.

What we'll be trying to do, and everyone's invited to come and try, is basically "break" the commerce system with the magnas, which may of course implicate reproducing the infamous "magna-duping".

Please, feel free to try as many times as you wish, and of course, to write any advances, doubts or reports in this same thread.

Don't be afraid to be "banned" or something, since by testing you won't be ruining gameplay. In fact, you will be helping us to actually achieve a more perfect Commerce system regarding these minerals.

We have 2 weeks to test, and if no bug or error is encountered, I'll proceed to close this thread and consider that the best result has been achieved.

It's clear that any post that's non-related, that does not give any useful info, that's provocative or that tries to derail this thread will be eliminated. Repeating any of this mentioned behaviors may lead to a temporal or permanent ban.

EDIT: Nothing to do with magnanite items but once you reach the item limit(Not the weight limit) you can no longer obtain/trade new items, they simply won't appear in your inventory and never will. So for example, if you buy a premium item you will lose Ximerin and not receive the item, even after relogging.

EDIT2: I spent some time on Amun and on my first try I found a visual bug to dupe rocks!

as far I Know, the lastest magnanite bug, was considered also as a visual bug. After reloging, you obtained the proper quantity.

Can we please get the info on how the old dupe bug was done so that the people that didn't know before could test this, otherwise you will not have high numbers needed for proper results.

This bug can be reproduced with any kind of stackable item. Here's a step-by-step example:

1. Stash a stack of items. Not all of them, keep at least 1 on your inventory. In my example, I will be storing 170 rocks from 177. I will have 7 in my inventory left.

2. Place the stashed stack in the Retrieve box. Should look like this:

3. Switch to the Store box and store, for example, 1 rock from your inventory.

The stash will show you the correct number of the stack of items you have stashed. That's what you want to see.

4. Switch to the Retrieve box and you will notice that the 170 items you had placed are still there. Feel free to place the stashed stack in the retrieve box now.

5. Proceed to go back to step 3 and repeat the process until you go out of rocks.


That's it, basically. If you press the Retrieve button the window closes and the number of items in the stash will remain correct. It's just a visual bug.

I overheard that magnanites can be duplicated by the cheat engine, but it is only a visual "bug", too.

EDIT6: I'd like to report Assassin Prince (Ra) for deliberately interrupting tests and wasting my time at Samal market. He keeps killing the only merchant near CS and me too until I decided to strike back and kick his, unfortunately he always comes back... I kept complaining on global chat but that didn't seem to stop him either, not even the fact I'm a female character. :<

Frosk. Encontré el bug de las magnas. Estube como 2 horas probando, pero en fin, lo logré. Acá te dejo los pasos:

1. Move all ur magnas to stash.

I could, though it's more convenient in the war zone because I can always find someone to help me, rarely do you find people responding to help calls in chat, not even I do. Besides, his actions are still unjustifiable, he did it intentionally to piss me off and waste my time. And he succeed.

Another bug:

Once you put these duped mags in your account stash, the all disappear and are gone. >.<

I don't know wheater it is the same with usual magnanites, I will try out now.

Cheat Engine can only edit values that are on the client side meaning that any change made using that program wouldn't register on the server itself. While it visually changes on your screen it wouldn't on the server or for anyone else. As soon change the value via picking up another magnanite or logging off it will bounce back to its original value. I suspect a packet editor such as WinSock would be a better choice but then again I've never attempted to use it on this game.

4. Revisar el Baúl.

5. Retirar las Magnas. Vease que las tengo en el inventario.

6. Como vieron, no queda ninguna magna en el baúl. Pero magicamente agregando un item cualquiera y luego retirandolo, las magnas aumentan en mi inventario.
