I have seen Ulti's Fanarts (link (http://www.regnumonlinegame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43580)) ... so I accept the challenge and draw regnum fanart, too (it's a pity that Ulti stop drawing fanart).

The first one is for a good friend (he forced me to not mention his name :wink:) and his 2 main characters, a little bit younger than ingame :).

My images are mostly in anime/manga style.

I update this thread from time to time with new images.
Simply post a picture of your character and I try to draw it.

PS: In that bottles are only mead, of course. :theking:

Long time no post in my thread. :wink:

I saw a male Lamai warrior on the server and I thought:
"That's a nice theme for drawing"

I think Lamais really need support for hair and beard because it looks much better.

New rule for "drawing your character": Please send me a message or post additional informations (e.g. screenshots at highest graphics detail without shadows at day light, zoomed in: front and back), wishes and advices. That helps me with inspiration and motivation and to figure out what do you exactly want.

I'm practicing over 3 years at dA, started with coloring other's lineart. I watched a huge amount of tutorials and practice sketching and drawing (I call that "reproduce phase"). I'm not a professional artist or art student :wink:.

PS: I really like my Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet, small enough to transport and use it everywhere with my laptop. It saves a lot of sheet of paper.

I draw another picture of a Lamai. I focused on the pose; not on the correct proportions (she is a too tall for a Lamai).

Did I mentioned that Lamai females with their long ears look like Twi'leks from the Star Wars universe?

@Ulti: I don't forget that I want to draw your character, but I realized (after some bad sketches) that the pose is too complex for me at this moment. I need time to study how to put a character in a correct pose.

PS: It's the first time I don't do any sketches on a sheet of paper for the lineart. :wink:

It's nearly 80% finished.

Which eye color have your knight, it's brown doesn't it?
The weapon needs some details; shadows on the skin are not finished yet.

I think I finished it tomorrow. ;)

I only play sometimes on the German server Valhalla. Consequently I can't play on Haven, but on Ra.

Making a screenshot:
Press "Print"/"Scm"/"SysRq" key on your keyboard (don't know how to make a screenshot on a Mac). Your screenshots are usually located at [Path of Regnum]/[server type]/screenshots .

Posting pictures is simple:
Choose a image hoster (Google helps you to find some), upload your picture and copy the link to the picture (that's the best way, otherwise the link to the hoster's page where the picture is located) and post it here with the "Insert Image" or "Insert Link" tool. :wink:
