What next?

I'd like to discuss and state my opinion on two points and hope for an official reply or insights from the community.
1) General Game Focus
Since about two years i see a shift to more hunting an less fort fights. This trend is strenghtened by imo shortsighted design decisions like skillpoint overflow since wm update, more eq emphasis, misuseable wm spells, crippled invasion system and wrong reward appeals.
Sometimes i'm feeling now like in a hunting ego shooter(barely skill->play marks) and not a tactical rpg for mass battles anymore which i loved so much in the past. Finally Regnum is still suffering one of its main player frustrations realm imbalance without prospect of immediate improvement.

2) Server stategy
I understand the need for developing new partnerships and financing, but first the international ra community was smashed and then again the just emerging horus is sacrifced for a self cannibalizing substitute(raven). On the german servers the discussions about server merge are running high every year again. I dont know the state of the other two tiny servers.

What are the overall plans for this game? What are we heading for? Whats ngds vision? Is there any hope for a road map?

It's not NGD's intent to make this game more about pvp. They just don't think ahead when making these changes and never really fix them either. At least that's the impression they're giving.

How do you know? I mean, I have never seen (but then again maybe I over read a post) a single post where NGD states that they don't strife to make this game more PvP oriented. They could be as well trying to make PvP balanced while they're working on new organised arena's and at the same time battle ground which you need teams for. (I'm probably just dreaming now).
