I figured out them all!!

1) Treehug on the west side of the tree, to get rid of beetle swarm
2) Treehug on the east side of the tree, to get rid of another beetle swarm
3) Running around a tree to avoid damage
4) Using golem to attack the enemy player (nice one though)
5) Running away to save your life

how do you manage to play without tricks?

I came from Ra.
There people don't use tricks too much, but mainly use area damage skill to "clean" the warzone.
Don't know what they are doing over there now since I got trans'd to Horus.

The only uncommon thing I saw really was the fact you don't skill tricks. Everything else I do myself... maybe not the treehugging so much unless someone else starts it/I'm outnumbered/starting a fight near death/etc...

Petless without tricks is like a warjurer without mental. As imbalanced as CC chains can be, you will end up running away a lot (or dying) without them. Unless like, confuse 5 from camo then dot spam... if you can call that a fight.
