Gamesamba hosted an PvP event. When 2 players of the same realm had to fight eachother, one of them was changed to another realm. Just for the duration of the fight.

I want to know exactly when a gm changed a player's realm.

They've done so previously - the problem with identifying who exactly is responsible for it is a little indeterminable due to the large number of GMs that were present. Perhaps a representative of NGD - such as yourself - should be present for the next event so you can get the low down on what these activities entale.

they wrnt allowed to trade if they got caught they'd got banned as was said at the start of each tourney.. (i think)

i dont see another way to do this tourney tho, and it sure was a fun one so i do hope it comes back

There was better way :D, just place players in area like arena, where everyone can attack everyone.

Also some accounts cannot switch realms (for example my char couldnt become Ignis). I believe GS reported this bug, but just notifying in case they didnt. Not that it should be on high priority.

Well Frosk, GMs did switch realms of groups of players there. Made me mad one day when I saw video from the event on youtube.
After the server merge when there was people like me, wanting gamesamba to switch realms of other accounts so we don't have to be multirealmers or at least switch temporarly so we can transfer gear and delete the characters from other realms, they refused and they were just saying everyone they can't, that we can't be switched, that we can't transfer the gear.
And when I saw the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVpZRnKbCSM&feature=g-all-lik) I got angry because it was suddenly possible, because it was convenient for gamesamba to do so for the event, but not when it made more sense*. Some folks were telling me they did forbid the trading and made it bannable offense. However, when they said "we can't switch players realm" once, they should never do it just because they feel like it.

* I lost few friends for being multirealmer because of the merge, I had to make desition which realm to stay loyal to so I eventualy just pretty much stopped playing.

The way I understand it, they can't completely switch your realm. They can make your character another realm so that it can fight your original realm, and maybe even trade with the new realm, but somehow the character and account is always tied to the original realm. This is apparent when you try adding a GM to your friends list, who began as an enemy race and changed himself to your realm.

Beyond that, "can't" can mean more than just it isn't physically possible to allow you to switch realms or trade your gear to another realm. This very well may mean that allowing anyone who asks the ability to trade their gear between realms to another account which is supposedly also theirs (requiring either dual logging or account sharing) can't be allowed because it would be too difficult to monitor or police. It could also mean NGD would not allow it.

Afaik, it is possible to trade with one who had changed realm by will of GMs but his chat is still stickied to his original realm

Thread needed some cleaning. Any issues between users should be carried through PM not publicly through the forum. And if that doesn't work for you, you can always kill each other in RvR inside the game.
