Faith's developer suggestions for 2012
As a 15+ year programmer and developer I hand these off to you NGD.

View allied mana bar without party.
This should have been a standard from the first beta RO.
I would like an NGD representative to give us all a real honest and logical explanation to why this is disabled and only viewable when partied.

Fort and Castle door viewing ports.
The doors require a small section cut out such as a circle or horizontal rectangle.
This will allow players inside the walls to view out.

Game option - disable fountains select
In towns and within buildings the fountains get in the way of selecting players.
Since the fountains are for low level quests they become obsolete and obstructive.

Auto-chat buttons for player quick chat.
Saying "aca" and "ty" when in battle is unconformable and risky. A button or two that will give the player the option to add text which then can be clicked displaying the text in the chat and with auto send.
A limit to the amount of text would be necessary.

Show tip of equiped item near tip of selected by mouse in inventory if item of same subclass and type is equiped.
This feature is already implemented in several Games (Diablo 3, Torchlight, etc)

It's very hard to agree with even one of those ideas since there are way more important things.
Let's see how instances and balance develop.

You are too sceptic! I remember when it was imposible to run close to massive objects. That was important. Balance is almost OK. Several tweaks and Awesome.

That is what I was thinking. I have been killed because of chatting during battle several times. Hard to switch between looking at an enemy... running away and typing "aca help" at the same time.
I hope they consider the suggestions.

I can agree with balance (fix = banning of multi realm players) but who cares about instances.
Do you have any "way more important things" to add then?

Interesting suggestions, I would like the "chat shortcut" buttons - maybe few premium "items" that coud be inserted into the action bar with a pre-defined text? Of course they would have to have some kind of cooldown to prevent spam, but it would be great.
Balance is important, but it's a long-term and never-ending issue, so why not to implement few useful premium items meanwhile?
The suggestion #2 i don't agree with. I like the mechanics of not knowing what's "behind" the door. You must be careful what you do this way. Listening to game-sounds also helps ;)
Suggestion #3 is a bug actualy (if you mean the Montsognir fountain selection area), and one of the developers stated they were working on it (I don't recall the specific thread though).
If you press "shift", you invert your selection priority and therefore you can select the NPC's.
Instances could be interesting too, but the comunity has only very little information on how they will work. Neverless, I am interested :P

Additionaly the comand /reset_powers should be shown at trainers, or at least shown in the "game tips", help and loading screen.

Both really great suggestions!! :)
As a reminder, some of the ideas exposed here were already present in the UI improvements proposal thread (http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum/showthread.php?t=64003).
Most notably the /reset_powers, chat shortcuts, mana bar over ally's head.
Doors HP has a thread somewhere too, it was proposed for doors to have either a health bar, either more steps in its visual degradation (afair).
The Tab etc. hack is totally absurd.

I agree! That should be a no brian'er for the devs.
