Is it me or does our equipment degrade too fast and cost too much to repair?
It seems that I can't even make it through a level without a (in my opinion) very costly repair.

At level 16 a repair costs over 4000 gold which too me seems very high with the rate at which we earn it.

Yes, and this cost doesn't really change, at least I think it doesn't, as the cost of your armor increases, still paying the same repair ammount at level 20 that I did at level 12

also, there should be a way to repair certain items only, sometimes i don't want to fix armor I'm about to grow out of, but I'll need to repair my weapon only and there is no way to do it, you have to repair all or none

may be you should train without armor. i did that when i had monetary problems :P

I'm lvl 12 and have 25k.

At that lvl, I had monetary problems too.
I advice you to lvl without armor, as eL13 said. It's a bit slower but it'll save you a lot of money...
I am lvl 50 now, but with less money than other lvl 50 players :(.
