I don't get this shit people are saying he's only good because of that amulet. He recently acquired that amulet. I've been playing with this guy for years, and I can honestly say that he would have killed all his enemies just as easily without it.

I agree! Loved the hunter game play. As for matrim, not his fault. Current marksman game play is so boring when you set up for max range, that is of course IMHO. Pew pew pew, winter stroke spam, win.

Starting from camo? fair enough against a fully buffed marksman, but that should be a win everytime unless you get some bad luck.

Kite along beach is of course quite nice, say what you like about the guys chasing.

Less to comment on Matrims fights, although multiple opponents, many hardly know how to buff themselves, let alone fight.

I think he uses his defenses plenty, maybe not as much as most players would, but you also have to consider that as a marks you need to be more restrictive with your mana consumption, some of his fight are quite long and mana demanding and with more CCs and range, you have less need to go crazy with defensive buffs.

I have no idea how he would fare against better players, maybe we can see that in part 2. ;)

I hope next part will be more interesting, maybe some fights when both you and your opponents do well or maybe even a fight where you cockup completely? xD

Hello, Monday here.

I started the video idea a week or so ago with Chris (Matrim), but after I started, things in real life took a bit of a turn and I had a lot on my mind.. my motivation to record was quite low.

Regarding your comments; yes it was pvp against cannie. I started from camo because it's a hunters strength, i'm a petless hunter; I could beat marks in pvp without camo, but this marks had an amulet + 2 rings. Also, he wasted all his buffs at once, that's why i left him so long to let them expire soon after my dist landed.

In the fight with the red marks, yes, I resisted his BoW but I'd have reacted to that differently if it hit; I pride myself on being reactive rather than just relying on things to happen.

The kite along the beach actually started in OC - Bonecruser ran from me 1 v 1 to find a knight + that conj, I went in for a close kill, got knocked in sotw, conj survived 3 times with 1 hit left lol, well timed barrier each time. :) I then started kiting, knight stopped chasing, barb took up his place instead. I think the conj just appreciated that I had a bit of skill and clapped then walked away haha. I didn't particularly want that clip to end like that, but it did. Almost a perfect clip imo. :)

EDIT: I'd just like to also point out i've been away for 2 months; I've only been back now 2 weeks and i'm still quite rusty, lol.

I'd like to second off apologise to spine for killing him (though i think it was less than one dozen) you cant trust another realm whilst they're alive and if i left you alive who said you wouldnt come up and SM me to death from behind, nothing personal just a precaution.

So lets get down to it, you guys might be right this might be a little bit rushed and this is the best i could come up with in 4 days (since we started recording to me editing it) Its hard to get good clips now-a-days with syrtis being a zerg that never splits from the herd and ignis being EMPTY.
I don't buff so often because i tend to save that for when i need damage to be reduced unlike some who shit themselves and buff instantly i have to conserve mana and i am an offensive class it is usually spent on CC's and my RA drain. This is what marksman is now since the update, if it was pre update. Anyway i hope you still somewhat enjoyed the video and maybe apreciate it a little more with what little we had over 4 days to post it. Part 2 is going to take a little more time but it will be good :)

Still that dizzy would have made it whole different fight, now instead it set off series of mistakes on his part.

You would take alot of damage just because of the dizzy and could only hope to get out range before his dist+knock combo and even if you did I think he would have been able to keep his composure and dont mess up the way he did now.

You may very well be the only hunter on haven that wouldnt just find a tree and camo instead, then again that wouldnt make much of video clip if you did.

BCs normal hits of 20 and that conju refusing to help him, i think his actions and loyalty are questionable to say the least. That is not your problem of course, its great run regardless of the quality and loyalty of the chasing players.

Just put things into perspective, any other hunter and this run wouldnt be possible.

The youngest player i know ingame is 10 years old, the oldest 50+, although i have heard of another one who is 65. Some people are skilled, some not. Some have big ambitions, others don't. Some play for fun, others for fame. Some rage, when they die, others don't care. Some have lags, others don't. Etc. etc.

The mere fact that he didn't give him a chance to defend himself or establish a decent counter attack deserves credit. Its not as easy to do as a hunter than it is with a warlock or marksman. Maybe I just suck with my hunter but I was impressed with this fight. The fact that there were no environmental obstacles around is irrelevant because it could have worked equally in Paddy's favor if he lost control of the fight.

It was a fight, I saw he buffed all his defense skills at once and took advantage of that. I don't see the point coming out of camo when a marks is fully buffed, it would be a silly, maybe arrogant move on my part if i did. :) I don't mean this in an argumentative way, I'm just trying to explain. As for the fight with Pwnography, he reacted to the one resist I got. He probably buffed SOTW way too early, but it's still a hunter vs marks in open field, give me a little credit, lol.

Either way, I appreciate all feedback (except from Freeverse, in this case :/), and thank everyone who watched. Next time I make a solo video, i'll put plenty of effort into it. :)

All meant was that it competitive game so you have to expect some scrutiny regardless of age, disability, ambition and what not.
Im really sorry that some involuntary participants have to be evaluated to determine how much or little skill that were involved in some scenarios.
Nevertheless, I think it quite interesting and very entertaining as long as none is offensive against anyone.

When sotw end he is still confused and Monday still have plenty of time left on his defensive buffs, he would need keep him disabled with a long chain of CCs and still be in a very bad spot since he only have like 1/5 hps.
His ambush was resisted, and maybe It would have been smarter with a stun.

I think it would have been fair, even if not smart form a tactical point of view.

Sure this was one was much better than the first pvp in the video (you dont do anything wrong then either, its just not very fair), it not your fault that you resisted.

Pwanografy is certainly to blame for making it way to easy on you, casting sotw first is a huge mistake in open field, then he have to choose between getting CCed and confused or take his chances with LP.
You are quick to stun him after LP, after that its all over. Still GJ, but as I said the fight would have easily gone sour if that BoW would have worked.

First of all, "lags" and ping are the same thing. Second, they do cause these kind of occurences because the network code is just horribly written.

The entire game basically breaks down when you are lagging, it's possible to knock people from 20m away for example.

I quite enjoyed it too. Perfect gameplay from Paddy as expected. I particularly enjoyed watching how Chris adapted his gameplay to the recharged arrows nerf and the fact that all his fights where solo against multiple enemies. Set aside gear and level differences, its still pretty impressive.

Loved the first song too. Gona get that as my ringtone.
