Hi

I'm not sure whether you said you'd finished doing all the spells yet, but only once or twice when levelling up have I been given new spells, and I'm on level 4 or 5 for each discipline. Neither do the spells seem to get better, unless you actually assign skill points. And I can't get to lvl 3 of any spell even though the discipline is at lvl 5. Perhaps it is limited at discipline lvl / 2 or something?

Also, what causes a skill point to be given?

Cheers

The disipline must be lvl 11 for lvl up the skills to lvl 3, for the skills lvl 4 the disipline must be lvl 15 and for the skills lvl 5 the disipline must be lvl 19 (max)
Viewing your another post about mage and conjurer i supose you don't choice a subclass, do it and you will win 3 new disiplines.
Remember, some skills can be disabled and others can be working bad. If you want you can reset all your skills typing /reset_powers in the window chat and choice anther disiplines and skills.

Good luck!

That's interesting, I made my slash weapons discipline level 10, as well as my two-handed weapons level 10, and now they both say max, and I can't raise any skill past level 2

is level 10 max for all those disciplines I have, or is there another sub-class I need to get after I've chosen barbarian?

Actually there is an awful bug that show your disipline as MAX at lvl 10 but the max lvl of a disipline is 19.
You must to reset your powers and go with the trainer, add points to the disipline you want, when the disipline is lvl 10 it will be show as MAX but you can add points (the lvl of the disipline depend of your lvl), once you close the trainer's window cannot add points to the disipline anymore, only reseting powers again.

Sorry, it's hard to describe this problem, i hope it be fixed soon.

Thanks for the explanation, but I'm only lvl 12 so it'll be a while before I get to discipline lvl 10!

Maybe I'll be allowed to get into lvl 6 now I've chosen a subclass...

How long did it take you to get that high, plrabun? It seems I need to get 15k experience just to get from lvl12 to lvl13!

Hi Dosage :)

Ah, yes, groups are good...trouble is not many people speak english.
I know, what is 'Follow me, let's kill that' in spanish? That'll be a most useful phrase.

Let's see, 15000 / 200 is 75. 5 - 10 mins per kill including waiting for health to recharge, that's 6.25 to 12.5 hours to get to the next level, plus time spent getting from place to place. I don't have enough time to put in 10 hours per level!

Don't you love the way some weaker things, when you start to attack them, just run to another creature and they start fighting...you get group points then too heh.

Got to lvl 13 finally, mainly on quests - need 25k experience now to get to lvl 14!

what's your name in the game, I can find people for you to party with, and I know a good place for your level, and yes when the mobs kill each other it is best, but you get more XP the more damage or % of the kill you get

Thanks!

I'm ML42, lvl 13. I'm currently killing Orc grunt and other challenging things. I managed an Adult Wolf for the quest, which is not too bad but I always get a Green Beetle eating me at the same time, and have to run away, lol.

Cheers, you're very helpful on the boards.

by the way, I think I've done all the quests now, in the first two towns and Fisgael - where do I go next? I'm not sure where this Great Door into the real world is.
