Or... you could leave it as it is and work in a little story. Make us able to read her letters. We'll slowly watch her descent into madness.

It could work in my opinion. I think she's located in the tavern, so she might have a drinking problem.

Letters shouldn't be read by the guy who carries them.

You where a special agent of the SBI (Syrtis Bureau of Investigation).
Your mission was to stop an insane warlock called Origin.
You must complete that task, he's dangerous and a threat to the motherland.
A box is put in the box behind the painting of Herpius Derp in your kitchen, it contains weapons and armour.
