PD: increase texture quality in the launcher, menu options> advanced options

I'd love to increase the texture quality, but I prefer performance vs. graphics in any game

also, I play on a good laptop, but it has the most basic graphics card available

amd 64, 2.4ghz
2gigs ram
radeon x200 graphics (which im planning on upgrading, but it has to be factory installed on my laptop)

Nice.

How do you get into the main world to see the other races? Where is this Great Door?

Hi Dosage!

I see u take the path of the warrior! Tremendous rapport with ur weapon u must!

In other matters, the things over the laptops, are vry interesting (at least in my oldies xps) 4 NGD, maybe talking about with Surak, he can make some simple modifications over that ( i tell u this bcause was my past xp) -and if doesn´t work, simply say " all is fault of Surak!" and the problems go away =).

A time ago, i play over an desktop, and with the time, both desktop and laptop, this laptop, toshiba p4 2,6 ; 1,256 Ghz of Ram; and 64 Mgs emulated video graphic card, play some interestings things...jaja.... when I tell that things to Surak (ok, was trought the report thing), he take a good time to test te engine online in the laptop, and give me and all other user of the same machine the answer (- a mod over the code -)... so, I encourage u 4 take that path too, and give to NGD or Surak the correct idea over ur issues!

In my way out, a last think... I love the performance over any thing toO! ajaja... so, keep fighting and winning over that flying mobs =).

Cya comrade! and fight for ALsius!

hehe, of course, always for Alsius! I don't know where the door is yet, I'm just lucky enough to know some high level people who show me new things, and I explore alot so I find things like the dragon

what could i do to fix those graphics issues, im not sure, my desktop would run everything at max but it's impractical for my dorm room, unless there is a way to use the laptop screen to run my desktop off of :D or maybe i could pick up a second monitor to use for the desktop

This is the first time my graphics rendered correctly in RO, not sure why, but it's nice to have everything the right color :)

Plrabun,

For further reference, could you tell us what settings you put to have the graphics rendered correctly?

Thank you in advance.

I didn't change anything on the game but...

I made a new user account and disabled alot of the unnesessary windows compenents in "msconfig" so when I log onto my game account my computer is only running basic functions and the game, it runs alot smoother, it rendered correctly this time as well as my framerate doubled (from 6-10 to 15-21)

It's a very nice change, I'm going to try to increase the graphics a little more and see how it will run...

I have most of my settings on low, and viewing distance on low

in my experience the glitches won't go away just by upgrading the quality settings..
you just have to have luck (?)
