Hey guys.
I have been starting to mess around with making some game footage
and would love som constructive criticism and tips. The current video is
just some raw footage i made and it ends a bit abrubt.
Programs i used was:
Msi Afterburner built in recording at 16:9 360p
Windows Movie Maker
My comp spec is:
Intel Dual core 2.3
Nvidia GT8600 512
4 Gb ram
HDD- 110 GB off free space to store videos
Im aware that my computer cant handle very good quality footage but still
hoping to make some deacent so any tips about free programs that is
better then what ive been using is much apreciated. And if there is any, a
link to a good free music library would be nice aswell.
And here is link to first atempt:

It's nice for a first attempt. Though yeah quality affects a lot. I liked it. I wouldn't mind for more :)

You can try to record in HD and eventually scale down/compress when rendering later after editing. Saving in HD shouldnt take too much CPU, its mainly using Harddisk.
Should get a way better quality.

Thx for the feedback guys, i did some quality tests and did some changes.
Made a quality check video that i recorded in 720p with RTV1 compression.
Its not super nice but a bit better i hope

I tried higer aswell but then my computer jumped up and slapped me in the
face yelling "leave me alone".

Yeah that one is way better. Do you compress it on the fly while recording?
As that will hurt your performance quite alot.

More proof that you didn't steal my new computer, apart from that it arrived yesterday ^^
I like it, HD makes a big difference and I hope to see you posting more :D

Ye, tho only due to lack off space. The RTV1 compression at 720p on the fly
is the best compromise i can find to get deacent quality/performance/space
saver.
