New player from Steam

Hey everyone. I just saw this on Steam and thought I'd give it a try. I thought it'd be nice to have some people to ask if I had any problems along the way, so yeah. If any clans want to pick me up and help me out a bit, you just might have a decent player eventually. I plan on going Marksmanship, and still on the fence about buying the $19.99 pack, but it depends on how it goes. Anyone?

Welcome to CoR, I'm sure, that after the hideous leveling, you will enjoy the warzone, that offers unique and fun content.
If you ask around your realm chat, I'm sure some clan will accept you. However, you didn't state which realm you are playing. If you are from ignis, don't hesitate to "/chat Kharbon", and we'll figure something out :)

If you want to invest in the game, I won't stop you - the only suggestion from my side would be to get a permanent mount (which I think the pack includes), and perhaps some xp scrolls. I wouldn't buy any premium boxes or such at lower levels.

Do try out the warzone, before you draw any conclusion about the game, because war is the soul of this game.

Hey bro. Welcome to CoR. Everyone starts out a lost little newb in this game so don't worry about that. This game doesn't take too long to master. Marksman is a really good class to play in PvP and RvR. A bit too good if you ask me.

There are a number of clans recruiting newer players and teaching them all about the game, helping as they level up and recommending them to other clans once they mature into the warzone. Let us know what realm you chose to play in. If you chose Alsius, the Alsius Academy is a good clan which does this. I'm not sure who the leaders are but you can contact Matrim Cauthon or Bidinger, or just keep your eye on realm chat to see who else is recruiting.

Enjoy the game. Remember that most of the excitement and the main attraction of this game happens inside the warzone where it total chaos and bloodshed everywere, however you need to be a bit higher leveled unless you enjoy being blown up in one hit. I hope you stick around long enough to get to experience that.

So as I said, either ask around the realm chat, or contact me, or Skit, if you can't find a clan you like :)

Either way, RvR is amazing, unfortunately it's not quite present for the low-lvl players, at higher levels you are more then welcome to join though :)
