What's the superior realm in in fort wars atm?

Ignus seems to be the best realm now when it comes down to fortwars.
I've seen my realm (alsius) open the portal twice in the last two weeks, don't know about Sytris but it think its 0.
I don't know the exact numbers, but Ignus did a very good job the last weeks. (months?).
What do you think is the best realm atm, realm balance shifts from time to time, but for now I think its Ignis.:cuac::ignis::syrtis::alsius:

It really seems more to do with time of day between reds and blues. Late night USA time Ignis does pretty well. During the day (evening European time) blues do better. Greens, they need help lol.

I hear that it used to be Ignis had the best players but smallest forces and Gelfs had the most players making them a Zerg force to be reconned with the goats in between.

Who knows what will happen when the surge of Steam players get old enough to do wars?

Just like you said, every realm has its ups and downs.
Syrtis used to open the portal several times everyday not so long ago while Ignis was in lethargy, now it's nice to see Ignis and Alsius being very active, thanks also to the steam players income.

At the moment (since around a week) Ignis is the strongest realm in terms of numbers and invasions. Alsius however has ruled for the past months invading the other realms a few times a day. Syrtis has done it too for a short period of time
Syrtis seems to be in a crisis lately. When TDM started there were like 20-30 lvls 60 online daily (never saw so many lvls 60 together). Most of them didnt care about defending their forts or realm, they just stood there waiting for the next match, doing nothing. Very bad example for the rest of the Syrtis community. So the ones who cared, logged off, quit, went to other realms or to other servers (RA). After a few days I saw that also the steam community started to switch realms tired of being invaded and seeing that their realm didnt do anything at all in the wz. Now there only a few high lvls left defending forts but most are low levels from Steam (!). We'll see what happens in the future.

Hmmm, not exactly Tamui, Syrtis didnt open the portal 2, 3 times a day. Syrtis invaded during two weeks 2, 3 times a day with 6-8 ppl because there were no Ignis or Alsius defending their realms. @ ieti. You cant blame Ignis or Alsius (or Syrtis) because they "farm" as you call it. People in this game need to do the wm-quests if they want to become warmaster. And if they can invade the other realm you cant blame them either. They need to kill the nobles for the wm-quest. It's all about warmasters wether you like it or not. So stop blaming a realm please. All are the same.

Now where I disagree is about expecting a better behaviour from another realm and moving to it with this hope.
As long as a realm can afford invading every night against zero defense and make several wishes a week, draconics will spawn. As long as a realm is so populated compared to others, farming will happen. All realms are the same, made from a same set of players. Not trying to exonerate Syrtis against its past shameful actions but saying that the realm deserves to be in a such crappy state isn't the right thing to do. Do you really think Ignis deserved to stay in lethargy for a so long time because they used to invade every night ? I don't.
The dominant realm must change from time to time, but this game can only be fun for all if the realms are healthy no matter of their past. All realms had a shameful past anyways. No realm should ever be in lethargy...

Putting a limit to invasions might be a good idea in this server. If invasions take place too often this break the moral of the invaded realm. We have seen it in Alsius.

Yes, goats are having their moment.... pity that this is thanks to the help of 100000000 gelfs (and some ignis) actually playing there. Goats should be now called elfgoaties or so :D. Very weird that all of the sudden Alsius has so many players online and at the same time Syrtis so few? Very weird also that most of those "new" goats players are very experienced fighters :swordfight: Where are those welknown gelfs that we used to see daily in the wz? Right, in there.
Problem with this kind of multirealmers is that when they get bored they will drop Alsius and go back to Ignis and Syrtis.
I have great respect for the ones who stay loyal to their own realm for better or for worse but for those occasional multirealmers I only feel disdain.

Yeah, from the 4,5 year I'm playing I have seen Syrtis dominating for at least 2 years (with short breaks). I think Alsius and Ignis deserve to have a little advantage in numbers as well, unfortunately I don't play these days, I'd love to see some nice fort wars.

On the other hand, I got used to 5 goats vs 25 greens and though it might sound strange, the times I have been in equal fights against Syrtis I didn't like it ^^. I guess I prefer being the underdog, it's in my system and won't get out ;).

There'll never be true balanced numbers, we can only strive for equal periods of time in which 1 realm dominates the others.

Give me a call when Alsius needs help because another realm outnumbers us 2+ to 1 again, then I'll be there night 'n' day for Alsius :D

It is dead. As others have said most syrtians went to Alsius en a few to Ignis. Others are playing in RA and others are now playing other games.

Several posters have mentioned the problem that makes this thread moot.

Multi-realmers,
as one said some just switch to the winning realm atm others feel like they're above the game and in control by changing the realm dynamics by temporarily playing another realm, some just get bored and change, but all weaken realm cohesion and defeat any attempt at lasting realm balance.
How many times have we seem one realm zerg a fort camp it a while then suddenly the defenders get 10 added to the defense while at the same time 10 disappear from the attackers ranks. This always happens after the attackers have had time to get all possible kills for the WM quest, coincidence, I doubt it.
You see the same thing during invasions sometimes, your realm has a large group and the realm you are going to invade has few on then half your group logs and the defenders double in number.
If Ngd's bad design choices don't kill this game dual-realmers will.

What about the possibility of multirealmers who move to the underpopulated realms in order to aid with the imbalances? I've done this a few times and have level 50+ characters in all realms but since my move to Alsius I saw no need to continue doing it any further. I guess I would have to dust off my Syrtis characters pretty soon.

I can't believe the whining of the Goats I heard yesterday during Prime-time USA. We all know the Dragon is broken at Ignis Wall. Get over it and take the darn thing in spite of the fact. It is being done all the time so stop whining and fight already! What a bunch of children!

The dragons (Vesper too) are really broken at Ignis gates. They stand too far from gate thus allows Igneans to area the outer door and stand on walls safely.

Well, looks like each Realm got its advantage afterall. Ignis doesn't have to fear very much the dragon, Alsius has got cemetery teleport and very narrow Imperia peninsulae, Syrtis has got... trees ?!
