I am looking to purchase my little Bunny Hunter a mount but I want it to be the same Mob type as the pet. I used the 7-day Daggerfang mount and have been using Daggerfang pets. Will I be able to do that at 60? If not what good Beast Pets that are also a mount that I can use at 60? Finally, where would I find said pet?
Thank you.

If you want your mount to be the same as your mount, your best bet is a Golden Wolf.

Elva would say the Beastly Tiger is the best pet. You can get those at Hidden Beach in Syrtis warzone.
Ive seen Immune with the Spectral Snake.
Im rather fond of the Orc pets myself.

There are no orcs at 60 though. A white yeti and a Troll are the most similiar afaik.
Some use the snake as it is small and proves to be a little more difficult to select.
My hunter knowledge is still low so correct me if I'm wrong. :p

I Suggested a Troll mount but as yet there is none, nor is there a snake mount.
Tiger and Golden Wolf so far, I take it then there are no appropriate level Daggerfangs?

There isn't a tiger mount, the only level thing that's a level 60 pet and a mount is the wolf

Thank you Lucian and all the rest, even those that read my inquiry wrong for that was some great information and fast, even if my mind is set on being able to ride my pet.

As far as I know, you can't tame the white yetis from Imperia Beach. And for the OP's question, the golden wolf is the only level appropriate pet you're gona find that comes in a mount too. But that questions already been answered.

Actually, you can tame those yetis.. But they are sort of inferior to the trolls because they have no range on their attacks like trolls do.

Snakes have high damage (Many Hunters use with Bestial wrath), Trolls have high HP and good damage, cats have low damage but attack very fast and seem to evade alot. Orcs are average but are a good selection if you want a specific damage type. Wolves are the most balanced of all pets.
Level 59/60/61 pets include orcs, trolls, tigers wolves (golden wolf), and snakes. Rest are untameable, I think.
Beware of big pets. Trolltards are a bit of a fashion, but a large pet can not only get in the way of your allies, it can get in your own way too, especially when fighting at melee range (e.g w/ dirty fighting). Though I've also seen Hunters win by hiding inside them to avoid being clicked as well.
(Not everyone knows about Shift+Click, and it doesn't always work.)

Playing without a pet is more fun anyway, or you can make some more interesting setups if you only skill pet tree to 15, and tame a lower level pet.

Id do that but at the risk of skilling training and protection passives to offset its lower level.

You guys keep coming up great advice and a few tactics, as well. My hunter is small so maybe I can hide inside a wolf...I know I can inside a bear. It is good to know the Wolf is the most balanced as i am unbalanced enough in real life.
