Meni relict at Eferias, Algaros and Eferias relict at Imp.

Plot:

Alsius capture Herb to get last relict
Ignis capture at the same time Eferias to get Meni relict
Syrtis few minutes later capture Samal to get relict
Syrtis stay to defend Samal
Syrtis split to take back Eferias (ignoring herb) and still some stay Samal
Ignis recapture Samal and take Eferias relict out without resistance
Ignis capture Imperia and upgrade it to level 4
Ignis hunter reporting all Syrtis run to gate even though relict is half way to (red) captured imperia and dragon flys as long as it takes to go from castle on horse ;]
Alsius capture imperia...
Ignis complain that we already have gelfs noble from everyday invasion
To be continued...

I've seen ignis and Alsius behave like this.

Whoever cast Split(5) deserves shooting. You are right about things being chaotic inside Syrtis, there has been a complete loss of morale inside Syrtis, lots of people literally do not care anymore.

Average daytime populations are very very low as well, I have seen as little as 10 people online in Syrtis.


But as I say, Alsius has been known to behave headless, making crazy decisions. Ignis not so much, but there have been times when it seems Ignis go and take another fort even though it is relic-less whilst an enemy realm takes a fort of theirs with a relic, then gets away with said relic.

This is just sad. I think you are taking the game too serious and being harsh. It's about having the right people on the right time, all do mistakes, some stop caring, some move on.. it's only natural. They might have done what they did but it's a game remember? Does winning or losing matter that much, when the idea is to play the game for the fun of playing the game..

In any case, your train of thought is yours and your choice of words are yours. You have positives and negatives and all the shades of grey in all the realms, coming out here and posting like this is just childish.

Having said that I wanted to share my little rat stealing a gem and running through while they were busy with the other gem at gate. It was fun and challenging, so I took some pics.

And I also discovered that the minimum level requirement to carry a gem is 45. I tried it some days back on 44, but couldn't pick it up.

If Ignis take forts without relicts it just means we wanted to help someone finish WM quest ? So there is a reason to do that. This just shows how population can shift, just funny that when Alsius / Ignis are underpopulated they are crying and when Syrtis is underpopulated it's still Ignis and Alsius crying lol :D.

I haven't been playing lately, but there was a time Syrtis invaded you 3 times if not more a day, now you do that to us, so what, in a few months perhaps we rule again.

As i remember, when i was newbie(not that long ago) and Syrtis was invading, I was happily killing every noob grinding inside, or, even worse, at ini zone portal. What i find awfull now, cos it is the best way how to "attract" new player, and definitely not challenging.

To what you wrote, i think such things happen cos of lack of experienced players in realm.(why is this so, dunno really, but one thing can be frustration, so you won't help with this kind of entries).

So, please, could you explain for what is this thread good(and not only for you)?

I dont think many new players read forum before starting a game an chosing a realm. If they would Syrtis would be empty ;) There is just no correlaction between one and another.

Anyway, I wrote this to make Syrtis feel ashamed, so next time they don't do such a stupid things. In away, my realm is now next in line to be invaded, so we took imperia hoping that Syrtis will intercept their relict. That didn't happen, they all horsed to their gate instead. No spirit to fight, just horsed away, Alsius didnt have that many by that time. We didn't help at herb cause we wanted our relict back first. This how it pays off to steal relict from underpopulated realm when you don't own your own relicts.

I think your realm deserved and worked intentionaly to be "devastated".
No other explanation, sorry to say that.

Next time, Please read carefully. I wrote nothing about altar, i was talking about area near that NPC which can teleport you inside ini. In syrtis it is Lia Rem, dunno others. And that one is reachable for any invader. I didnt write about hunting in ini.

Syrtis is a bit chaotic. Having said that, in the past 3 days we have been invaded daily. Of the 3 invasions two failed completely without a gem passing our gates. Both times we were outnumbered. Hardly a fail. Coordination is our weakpoint, but we still kick ass often enough.

Anyway, I wrote this to make Syrtis feel ashamed, so next time they don't do such a stupid things.

We have nothing to be ashamed about, except for Irsh's OP maneuver. Like I said before, we are often outnumbered but still kick ass.

On the subject of being outnumbered - I enjoy it. Far more satisfying when we do finally triumph. I'll give one example Efe this weekend. Alsius took it twice, defended it really well even got the relic out. We stopped the relic. It was bugged and went back to efe. Alsius still had efe. Alsius defended Efe succesffully until relic opened again, and took it out again (hats off Alsius, that's 1 hr's defence). We again stopped it from reaching their forts. Hats of Syrtis :)

Far more satisfying as a new player (6 months now), in the underpopulated realm.

Morale in Syrtis has sunk to the point of "meh, whats the point? Another stupid wish? The whole thing is meaningless anyway, let them have the gems."

However, it seems that if we can get open field battles going, there might be a chance to save this.

Also, some of the older players know how the population fluctuates on the clock, that if syrtis can get a good population in realm between 8.30am - 10.30am weekday mornings GMT, Alsius is undefended, and easy to invade. Same thing applies to Ignis.

Thats how to rollover the server.

Some of us are starting to speculate that Haven will probably be merged very soon, the whole server is on its last legs. Some of the GameSamba promotions recently on Haven have been last ditch attempts to save it and boost population, but GS are losing money with this, and they know it.

I personally want to see Online numbers, I want to see just how bad the rot is. I would love to see an online population graph since Horus and Raven merged.

i see alsius completely blanking during the invasions and than start random bull****
discussions about who did what wrong with lots of rage and badmouth people afterwards

As an old ex-syrtis i can clearly say this realm do not sux. In fact i loved it for the anarchy, chaos and freedom. There are no rules and noyone cares if you do not participate in something.

Sadly it changed alot before time and for me this made it crash so bad. There was anger, greed and argues. There was bosses, invasions and draconic gems. So people left, other moved and realm was pretty much left without it's war zone population.

Now they try to regain this thing back and saying they sux is really really not what needs to be done. As an underdog now i salute them for not whining and crying and what they do is have fun. Since when having fun is you sux?!?

Anyway i miss green lands still and i miss you guys. Have fun and i wait the time we see again the mighty Syrtis zerg!

only now? it has been always too much.. ignis used to have a zerg... they were much more.. syrtis got it too... now is alsius time...

Look i don't say it is fun to play when you are zerged.. or you have 5 online players and you need to defend your realm from invasion... But honestly haven (even on horus) this happened... It is a cycle... soon ppl in alsius will get bored of invading, ppl will leave.. realm will get lower population, others will get more... It is always like that..

this +1. Some people take this game or games in general way to serious. They would rage if Ignis/Alsius kills Evendim, or if Syrtis fails to defend a certain fort.
It's true Syrtis has changed , but I think all realms have. When I tell our afk zerglings at cs "Let's go to samal!" I usually get the response "Why ... theres no relic there...".
And that makes Carnage something something ...I just care about the fun part of the game, sure it might be hard to find sometimes but it's there! I've seen it :o
