Shut down Realm Population Bonuses on Haven

It is time to disable low realm population bonuses on Haven. By my count the leading Realm in power as told by invasions/wishes is also the least populated; by NGD's count Alsius has the least number of active L60's. It is time to stop the population bonuses for awhile and let the realms settle out for several weeks to see how the population goes. Right now, by my observations in game, Alsius is the least populated Realm and is using skills to achieve victory over numbers.

Sure, there are off-times that Alsius does out number the other Realms but the numbers are less than what Alsius has online during primetime and during primetime either other realm outnumber Alsius significantly. I am not calling for Realm Bonus to be changed to the one realm that is outnumbered (Alsius) but instead it just be removed for awhile.

yea, Alsius has had the numerical advantage for some months now.

the thing i find odd about trying to use realm xp bonus to rebalance realm numbers is that it is always a lag effect. it takes a few months for new players to get to 60, yet the xp rebalance is done on numbers right now. basically, you will never have a really close balance in realm numbers. this isn't necessarily bad. it can be fun fighting 15 vs 25 (50-70% numbers?).

but imho, what harms the game is when the balance is 7 vs 15 (<50% numbers) and consistently that way. (eg: samal). i feel quite a few players give up and just never come back.

"My own observations" means I have eyes. I can see how large the group of reds were standing in front of Imp a half a day ago and I can see the size of the group of blues countering them. Observation, using one's own eyes, is the best way to know what is going on. Try it sometime. It is called "seeing is believing" and has been the scientific standard for centuries. Ignis currently has the numerical advantage in RvR. This is fact. This is why the bonuses must end at least for awhile.

I don't know, where you got that information, but currently Syrtis has the 10% xp bonus, and Ignis has the 25% xp & 50% gold bonus. Therefore, Alsius is the most population active realm atm.

I don't know, when you "observe", but currently Alsius invades during times, when the other realms have only handful of people online. During the servers prime-times, the population of the three realms is quite decent. The other realms do not outnumber Alsius significantly.
