ITs not like people are "getting away with" playing for free. THe game is advertised strongly as a free to play game. And since everyone in game has speed boosters except mages, they will now be the last to arrive at fort wars in time.

rental horses should still be an available choice, that's all.

this is a good step for you guys, but you also need to consider that some kids parents dont let them use their cedit cards to get online items (such as Xim.). So i good thing to create would be prepaid cards. Not only would it be a good thing for kids and maybe some adults, but it's also an advertisement to draw people in.

How do you expect prepaid cards would work? They'd sell them all over the world? They don't have money to produce and introduce that, I bet. First thing they came up with is SMS payment, which even kids can buy.

Prepaid cards are a viable solution for publishers, not game studios.

Okay I didn't think this would be too bad at first, but I didn't factor in cremation.

Either horses for gold needs to come back, or cremation ditched. I, and I'm sure a lot of other people, couldn't be arsed running all the way from (shaanarid|samal|menirah) altar to get to (eferias|algaros|trelleborg|imperia) that often. At the very least NGD could visit Piz's idea of a speed bonus on roads (which isn't ideal because then you'll have hunters stalking the roads all the time, but at least it'll make them feel useful).

A permanent mount is what i've been waiting for for a good while. However I agree with two points made by other players who have posted in this thread: paying players now have an advantage in battle. This was never supposed to happen; it is not good business. You will sell many mounts because of this, but you can only sell them once. Renting mounts is the more profitable option. Maybe you won't sell mounts fast, but you will sell them. Over a long period of time (a few years), renting will bring you much more profit than selling them outright.

I love the idea of owning a horse, but I am annoyed that a company such as this could be so ignorant of numbers.

Mid-way solutions are no good (i.e. offering single-use mounts). Offering a playable solution is best. I suggest a quest or series of quests for members to gain a basic, permanent mount if they cannot buy Ximerin.

like someone mentioned before, in this thread or somewhere else, i'd like to see them bring back the horses from the farrier you can buy for 10k.

The only reason why most players did not buy mounts for money, was because they were temporary.
Now after they became permanent I bought predliator since I invested some money for fun and I don't lose it.

The reason why You got more income now is mainly not because all mounts are for ximerins, but because they're permanent which don't scare off players.

Also not everyone had horse before, since you had to go into realm to get it every day.

Leaving poorer players without possibility to participate in war without horse, just make them leave. As a result you have less players in game, which makes overall game even more boring.

Most of players play this game, not because of the game itself, there are nicer games on market, but because of climate and people that are here
